Rod Trongard is putting Lord James Blears over on the mic, but it might be a bit of overcompensating.  Trongard was said to have been very annoyed by Blears who was not a particularly good broadcaster.

Not really. The DeBeers had diamond mines & people were starting to care about the people working the mines. That w/his whole superiorty thing & The Superfly Snuka program had him hated.

@RevDarkehorse Col. De Beers gimmick was good at that time. The South African Army was the enforcer of the openly racist policy of apartheid. He could be openly racist on wrestling and get away with it. In the AWA,

DeBeers had a big feud going with Sgt. Slaughter.
