  • @110cottoncandy Yes, a hand mixer will be fine.

  • Thank you for this recipe! If I may make a suggestion, it may be helpful for easy release of the peanut butter if you spray the measuring container with Pam or even spread a little oil in it. That works great when pouring honey too.

    --Betty :)

  • Hi betty, one question. do you mean like literally one full cup or where that jar says 1 cup

  • @elizabeth4everish Yes, it is literally 1 full cup.

    --Betty :)

  • hes sooo cutee!!great recipie

  • Young Grandma:)

  • Betty! after i watch one video, i always watch atleast 5more! lol

  • I would suggest using more then 6 oz of marsels cause I made it and 6 oz didn't really cover the whole top layer

  • whats the difference between confections sugar and regular sugar?

  • Aw your granson's so cute! & I'm going to try that recipe, because I'm addicted to peanut butter cups :-)

  • These look soooooooooo good - i'm in the UK - i'm thinking 'confectioners sugar' must be what we call icing sugar - I don't suppose you have the measurements in ounces or grammes do you Betty? I don't know how much a stick of margarine weighs! thanks for sharing this!

  • She looks like his mom, not like his grandma :)

  • Can I refrigerate them after they've cooled and I've cut them?

  • @MissLeigh78 Yes, I usually do refrigerate them.

    --Betty :)

  • @bettyskitchen Thanks!

  • are these ganna tastes like rees's peanut butter cups?

  • @goldedrago Yes, they taste a lot like Reese's cups!

    --Betty :)

  • That looks so good! Also, that is a very nice cooktop. :)

  • betty marry me O.o

  • When making this does it have to be confectioners sugar or could you use pure sugar?

  • @MaeTheWolfDemon This recipe will require confectioner's sugar; otherwise, you will be disappointed with the results.

    --Betty :)

  • @bettyskitchen Alright! Thanks! I am probably gonna make them for my family on Thanksgiving as a desert~! 8)

  • when using vanilla powder, how much should i use?

  • @shimmerpole Substitute twice the amount of extract (if recipe calls for 1 tsp extract, use 2 tsp powder).

    --Betty :)

  • @bettyskitchen Thanks!

  • he is so lucky

  • aww cute kid!

  • carter is soooo adorable :)

  • hey betty do u know how to make magic bars by anychance......

    --Betty :)

  • how much is 1 stick of butter

  • i made mine with either crunchy peanut butter or i add in rice krispie...it's pretty good with those two choices

  • @cegoins25 the rice crispies is a good idea actually, i'm gonna try to get my fiance to make me these, and i'll suggest that too xD

  • How Would You Melt Peanut Butter For Peanut Butter Bars?

  • @sfighoi You can always melt peanut butter by adding a simple syrup (nade half and half of sugar and water) and adding some peanut butter. You can sweeten to taste by adding confectioner's sugar.

    --Betty :)

  • @bettyskitchen can u use ordinary sugar

  • @genedinh209 It won't have the same consistency, so you will not be able to cut it into squares if you use regular sugar--but it will taste good.

    --Betty :)

  • The First Half Before You Melted The Chocolate Is That How You Melt Peanut Butter?

  • @sfighoi You add the peanut butter to butter and melt it in a pot over low heat. You will find the complete recipe for all of my videos if you click the down arrow.

    --Betty :)

  • I am Sooo gonna make this......I love Reese's peanut butter cups! I mean anything with peanut butter & chocolate...Is a Big Sweet Hit! Ohhh and ur Grandson...is 2 Cute....Wow! =) Thanx for the "Sweet Share"!

  • This is one of my favourite treat recipes. Thank you Betty. Oh by the way your grandson is so cute and so well behaved.

  • you are awesome i was looking for this recipe thank you thank you my kids will love me

  • You look so young to be a grandma at first I thought he was your son

  • dang

  • You are a grandmother? No Way!

  • betty, you are one hot grandma

  • In every video you make me crave what you're cooking, lol.

  • @jannet678 xD, You should be like a perfessional, we're talking like Gordan Ramsey xDD

  • Mmmmm. Wonderful with cold milk. I will say be on the lookout with store brand chocolate morsels - they are usually made from chocolate liquor which is a cheap by-product of chocolate. But if its just kids eating them, use the cheap store brand because they can't taste the difference.

  • @cattnipp I usually get the store brand of a lot of ingredients, unless I feel strongly about a particular brand. Thanks for commenting!

    --Betty :)

  • your Grandson is a little doll, may God always protect and bless him and your family. Thanks for all the wonderful receipts too!!!

    --Betty :)

  • @bettyskitchen me to!!!!!!!!

  • @jannet678 me to!!!!!

  • can you use white choclate?? Thanks :D

  • Sure, white chocolate will be just fine--in fact, that sounds wonderful!

    --Betty :)

  • Betty how did you get the chocolate?

    Or what brand was it?

  • This was just 1/2 of a 12 oz. bag of chocolate morsels (chips) that you can get at most grocery stores. I used a store brand, but any brand will work. Thanks for your question!

    --Betty :)

  • Thank you very much.

  • you're grandson is soooo cute

  • Yes. he's a cutie, but sooo full of energy! Thanks for your sweet comment!

    --Betty :)

  • @bettyskitchen lol not to mention his reaction when you mentioned chocolate. "Chocolate?? :D" he got so excited about it heh.

  • hi betty i have made this a few times g kids love it , can you tell me how long you put it on the stove?and do you let it cool before putting in icing sugar. thanks my fist was alittle soft, then one i had to use more icing sugar to get it as hard as yours thank so much

  • In the case of the peanut butter mixture and also in the case of the chocolate, there is no set time for heating it. Just heat until melted. No, you don't need to cool it before adding the confectioner's sugar. If yours is coming out too soft, then continue to add more confectioner's sugar; you will find the right comination for you.

    --Betty :)
