@sfighoi You can always melt peanut butter by adding a simple syrup (nade half and half of sugar and water) and adding some peanut butter. You can sweeten to taste by adding confectioner's sugar.

No, you don't need to cool it before adding the confectioner's sugar. If yours is coming out too soft, then continue to add more confectioner's sugar; you will find the right comination for you.
