My father who is from Mexico and now a US Citizen once had a restaurant in Houston Texas when I was young. Opening an Authentic Mexican Restaurant in Hawaii is smarter...less competition. My dad should of thought of that before he lost his business in a past recession. Ive pondered opening one in Hawaii myself.

@chrizt818 Well, there is a very simple explanation for that: many people can only see the comment field from Youtube videos as an opportunity to fight over anything and have someone fight back. Some others might just be a little too sensitive about the mistaken representation of their culture. I am mexican and I love eating tacos at taco stands here, but I'd sure try Taco Bell if I felt like it, I know it's not mexican tacos, but why not give it a try?

I mean, a "Gordita" IS NOT THAT! and the tacos aren't

eaten with tomatoes and lettuce.. they can be eaten with

lemon and salt or maybe a natural spicy sauce or guacamole

but what taco bell sells are other things! i mean they

sell TOSTADAS not TACOS! a Tostada is like a tortilla

but it's fried. ANd also their flavor is so weird, Real Mexican

I'm Mexican-American and trust me you Hawaiians... :P Taco Bell isn't any damn close to a real Mexican Meal at all. You are missing out. Not a single ingrediant is used in mexican foods. Try the real thing. And yes I find this commercial a bit insulting...we don't make commercials with the Red Neck strereotype advertising McDonalds or see a picture of a fat Hawaiian on spam products...insulting isn't it? negative stereotypes...

@Kudosmeister It doesn't matter where you are...theres authentic recipees online and on youtube. You are more likely to find authentic mexican restaurants in border states. In Maui theres a chain of restaurants named Amigos where they seem to have award winning mexican food. youtube**com/user/AmigosMaui although its considered fastfood aswell.
