2-step verification does not work for **any** _non-gmail_ account in the youtube or google voice apps. I am thoroughly frustrated and at my wits end trying to get this to work on my Samsung YP-G70 (Galaxy 5.0 Player). I'm not going to create a new youtube/gmail account when I've got so much time and effort invested in the google account I already have. I can log in to any browser using app-specific verification. I can't sync non-gmail GOOGLE accounts with the device. Google -- Please. Fix. This.
Hey i have a question please answer this question so listen can you transfer a game in a usb stick and transfer the data in a computer or you can just transfer videos and pictures in a copmuter so please help me please
@zilence5 Why would taking an arrow to the knee prevent you from having a strong password? It's Illogical to think the two are related..or were you just trying to be funny ...AGAIN?
@riffraffselbow Never, because google don't know your username, and very very people use password like your pass. Now you can use mobile phone to verify your google account
My password is a song in Gaelic except the last two lines, and the lines and all the words in every line are scrambled. It takes two days to type, but hey, is it impossible to crack or what!?!
Clue: The song is "Ar Éirinn Ní Neosfainn Cé Hí". Bonne chance!
Short passwords (even those which include symbols and the likes) are easily crackable by computers.
A password that is 16 characters or longer take a few hundred to a billion years to crack on a current generation computer. Even when it's only letters.
For example:
I_Love_My_Mothers_Dog would be a great password because it's easy to remember for us humans, and hard to crack for computers because it's 21 characters long! (And would take a 2x10²³ years to crack)
Never works, I can't remember like 13 different passwords that also need random numbers and letters. Everyone uses the same passwords for stuff, that is just the way it is.
Right at the beginning he says "A good password is hard for other people to guess, but easy for you to remember". I would just like to point out that a good password should be hard for a *computer* to guess as well, seeing as machines are generally used in password hack attempts.
I'm not entirely sure what kind of punk ass hacker would actively try to guess passwords anyway, but if a computer can't guess it you're probably fine. Probably.
cool google always safe us of hackers in orkut youtube and email but the word dont are of google (YET x0) SOO we need protect us to safe of this bichts
So there was this girl in elementary school and she said my aim password is a secret! so my friend and I logged in to her aim account with the password: "secret". it worked XD
I got different passwords on ALL of my online accounts. They all have at least 10 characters and they contain a random combination of lower and upper-case letters, numbers and profanities.
Also have it long. 20 letters+ are what, 64bit or 128.. not that it matters :p they are more secure with most domain controllers using a kerberos type or something like that ;D
What I do is that I take a word i can easily remember, like an inside joke with one of my friends and then have something related to that behind, for example: _insidejoke_googlemail
pick a line from the lyrics of a song. you will have to shorten it down for some logins cuz stupid ass clowns limit their password length. but try it.
another tip for creating passwords is to take a quote. let's say "Be sure to use unique passwords for your different accounts" taking the first letters of every word. with this example: Bstuupfyda
and then go 1337 on its ass, (replace some letters with numbers and symbols) 8s7u2pfyd@ (8=B, 7=T u2 = uu, @=a)
first you remember the quote and go from there, and after a while the password itself will go into your (muscle) memory.
I say muscle memory because personally, I can't say my pass, just type
or use Sticky Password manager for creating random hard to guess passwords for each account. People need to have unique passwords for each account, not to have one strong one.
it doesn't matter if you have a strong password or not... what matters is the level of security on their end.... if hackers breached google, there's no reason a strong password can beat hackers (crackers)... but a strong password is also necessary so your wife won't read your emails...
