...this song is Expert, but to me...it's a hard-basic or easy-difficult, because, look. If this were a true expert, they would've, or could've, taken advantage of the high amount of 'thump-a-thump-a" instrumentals at the end, and even could've placed some notes in the front...

the song doesnt have to be hard all the time. some songs are suppose to be easy. besides making this song hard by putting 1/16 arrows for example would totally ruin the songs smooth sound. even if it was 1/8 arrows in a continuous stream it wouldnt be so good to pull off because it didnt make any sense to the song.

I dunno, while I haven't seen any done for this song, there's plenty of custom Stepmania files that were hard, yet fit for various smooth songs, but YMMV.

Yeah to be honest I think the steps are fine, not every song in the game has to be super difficult etc. After all, if they're too easy there's always edit mode. I'm pretty experienced with making steps for Stepmania etc and I can't really think of too many ways to make the chart harder without it not fitting the song anymore, short of putting runs on the drumrolls and stuff.
