  • Hahaha~! That was very cute. I can not hear you. But read you.

My eyes are dark brown. I wish I know you too.

    And I am fine. Thanks~!

It will be nice if I can learn grade 3 that way.

  • This is so cool! I am in the process of learning braille from the Library of Congress course. Fortunately it is taught in a weekly class. Not easy, but it will be worth it in the end!

  • you do know you could've just put C (space) Y (space) HE then AR contraction then ME

sorry but I've been learning braille since i was three so when i see mistake in how a person spelled something i have to bring it up

  • "Can you hear me? What color are your eyes? I wish I knew you. I hoqe (i think it means hope) you are well. Thank you. See ya!" thats the translation.........

  • Pretty nice. Keep studying braille. This is a good idea for teaching the sighted braille. I'm a teacher /specialist for chidlren with visual impairments. There were a few minor errors-- but nonetheless this was a very cute video!

  • It's spelled hope not hoqe LOL I teach braille to the blind so I just showed it to my student to see if he would catch the mistake

  • i started learnin braille yesterday, i had done a few things before but i didn't remember any of it... yeah im doin fairly well with remembering all the letters and stuff...

  • all i got was the first part

    can you hear me?

    after that i got bored

    lol

  • Pretty cool. Except the "I" in "I wish I knew you" wasn't capitalised. The "P" in "Hope" is a "Q". That's cool though.

  • my friend is working on a recipie for braille sauce, inspired by this song

  • This message says: 'Can you hear me? What colour are your eyes? I wish I knew you.

I hope you are well. Thank you. See ya!' and then a smiley face with braille dots.

  • Cute and creative, even if the word "hope" was spelled with a "q" instead of a "p." No big deal. Happens all the time.

  • one of my best friends is blind, she has a beautiful spirit.

  • i just learned braille

  • cool do you know a lot if you want i can touter you sometime. I've been learning it since I was three so i know a lot about it

  • i can see this video, i am blind, does anyone know what the message say?

  • I wanted to comment really quick. Your P is off by 1 dot - it's dots 1 2 3 4 instead of 1 2 3 4 5 so instead of "Hope" you have "Hopq." Also, your question mark is missing a dot 3, so instead of "Can you hear me?" you have "Can you hear me en" - just a friendly suggestion. :)

  • right rml695

  • haha,,,yeah, i got that too, i spent a while trying to figure it out and i just assumed he had made a lil mistake

  • I've been working with Braille since I was 6.

  • me to but i've been learning it since i was three. if you don't mind me asking how well can you see

  • 20/80 in my left eye, zip in my right.

  • Actually, the word that was suppose to be spelled hope was spelled hoqe. Dot 5 should not have been in there.

  • 1ª: "can you hear me?"

2ª: "what color are your eyes?"

3ª: "i hoqe you are welld"

    4ª: "thank youd"

  • This true?

  • it actually says hope you are well (full stop). but i see why you're confused. It's a lower d which means that it is taken one cell down. If you look closely you will see that the full stop is slightly lower than the rest of the text. Hope this helps

  • It's alright but some of the Braille is wrong, consider rviseing.

  • yes se you:d I'm also hardly blind and often use this method of writting and reading. GREETINGS FROM POLAND

  • that is weird

  • If you have a perkins brailler that should take less than a minute, but if you're not used to using braille it will take longer. :))

  • Hi. In the word hope you put an extra dot for p.

It is dots 123 and 4 no 5 dot. And you did well. :)) I am legally blind and I used braille when needed :))

  • :) Coolness. I read and write braille too!

  • that was great, i like it, but it is sadly that blind people cant read it :-\ but, anyway, it is great

  • Sighted people learn to read braille with the eyes so the effort makes for a good idea for teaching braille to the sighted. I'm a teacher/specialist for children with visual impairments. I read braille with my eyes.

  • What did it say?

  • the first bit says 'can you hear me?' What color are your eyes, is the next line. By the way each sentence ending with dots 2 and 8 is a question mark. I wish i knew you. is the next page. I hope you are well. Thank you. See ya. Then you've got the smiley face. Complicated i know, but hopefully that helps. Please tell me what you think.

  • very well done. it must have taken awhile.

  • can you hear me? what color are your eyes? i wish i knew you. i hoqe you are well. Thank you. See ya. =)

you wrote "q" instead or "p" in the word hope but good job lol

if you cant tell, i read braille haha

  • woops lol XD

  • I think this is brilliant. I've been learning Braille for qui9te a few years now. As a person with a visual impairment anyway, it's quite interesting looking at other peopls imitations of such an incredible formatting of text. How long did it take you? or dare i ask lol

  • yeah it is cool but i found a lot of contraction arrors in it mostly with the word you it should just be Y also AR WH he ment to write a P and he wrote a Q SH his I wasn't capital but otherwise this was a nice video. i can't help but bring up errors when ppl are writting in braille i've been learnig for almost 12 years now so i know a lot about it

  • well if you're talking about grade 2, then yes you're right. this is done in grade 1, but yes i do totally agree with your point. I always prefer things to be in grade 2, but there we go.

what's people's opinions of Britain going into Unified English Bralle? I'm all for it, but i'd like to know what others think. Should Braillists such as myself have the opportunity to vote with the international Braille Commission, so that those who use it in the UK get the final say!

  • Yeah i noticed that. It's quite incredable how it's been done though. Probably done by a complete amateur using a Braille Primer lol. Mind you, i was once one of them, so i can't blame them.
