@thedarkassain15 I just did it on my second try with 72% left! It's pretty easy; just do what Geoff says and only fire with one trigger so you don't overheat, and concentrate on one tentacle at a time.

Thanks a lot for the help!! Also I found a VERY useful trick. It may sound crazy, but if you destroy the middle tentacles he will keep throwing stuff into the middle of the screen and not to the corners so you don't take too much damage. I was having a hard time trying to destroy the ones on left and right and are the hardest, then tried on the middle ones and made it on 89%!!! I hope it helps. (sorry for bad english)

Just wondering, on the PS3 version (might be the same achievements) if I get 50% shield left can I unlock 3 achievements; Slugger, Get off my Ship!, Don't Get cocky, Kid?

Slugger and Get off my ship! can be unlocked on this moment of the game alone but the Don't Get cocky, Kid states I can unlock if I survive ADS cannon with 50% shield so just wondering as I didn't unlock it during the space debris fiasco. Playing this spot now, will let you know if I get them.
