Form 2 is the easiest, you can actually just stand still pressed up against the wall that sigma initiates his beam from and not get hit. Your run is truly awesome, but try my "trick" of staying still on the wall sigma starts on and see if it saves you any time/effort.

Oh, also, check out the trick I use for Sigma's second form. You can jump into the wall as he comes near you and then dash under him. It's easier than jumping over him every time if you're doing it without upgrades. Not quite as ridiculous as your Zero trick but still useful! :)

The ONE measly hit you took was borderline unfair, in the fact that your wall-kicks and his moves were simply out of sync. It was just cosmically terrible misfortune. Far as i care, the run is flawless. I haven't done that without any hits myself. (my record is 2 htis on form 2.)

Man I remember my best fight w/ Sigma's 1st form. It was an absolute slugfest! A classic duel of good and evil! I didn't even try to dodge his attacks! We were exchanging blows the entire time! I just went all out X-Buster on his ass and came out w/ half a life bar for Sigma's 2nd form... which I just Shoryuuken'd.

I did that too a couple of years back, with the exception that I picked up two E. Tanks and used them in those fights. Did you notice that when you do that, Zero appears somewhere during the credits roll, dashing across the screen, which he doesn't normally?

Yes, I believe (though haven't tested personally) Zero passes you on the highway when you don't collect any heart tanks.

When he does that attack the wave part is the only thing that can hurt you, and it's generated a ways away from his body. There's plenty of room to jump in between the two.

no he builds zero after he gets defeated in 7 and puts the maverick virus in him (around same time Light builds X) and Sigma gets the virus from Zero (shown in cutscene at the end of x4 (as Zero))

listen zero was not made to be good. b4 x1 sigma fought zero and the virus that made zero evil transfered and made sigma evil. and why your fighting him in this is because after zero gets destroyed in x1 you have to recollect his parts in x2 or sigma rebuilds him and he turns svil (again)

Sephiroth on Kingdom Hearts 2 has a similar problem. Stand just the right distance from him and all he'll do is try to slash you with his sword, which you can then parry and counterattack. Although it's definitely not as bad as Zero here LOL.
