The adder isn't actually poisonous, it's venemous, big difference. There are only a handful of poisonous types of snake in the wordl but hundreds of venemous ones. Poisonous means if eaten or would cause a severe reaction or death. Venemous means it will attack using a venom, so the qustion has no correct answer!
