@OmegaXMaster: it is on dvd.Pioneer put it out 1995.Well which ever format you find your going to love it.

@OmegaXMaster: its called "Catnapped!" out of print but you can find it on Amazon on vhs otherwise unless someone has bootlegged it to DVD. I found it on Japan Amazon.The director is Takashi Nakamura who also did work on Akira. Hope you get it.Good luck.

Yes, that movie was quite...surreal. I feel so sorry for the magician's daughter!!! D'X poor girl. And that mouse and cat story was really open-ended. The cat looked like an older version of the magician's daughter, so it's like "...wait was that her??". This movie....my goodness.

i the "the cat's return" isn't a sequel, but a story set in the same universe; that's probably what your thinking of.

Actually The Cat Returns has nothing to do with Catnapped, it's actually a spinoff from a different movie called Whisper of the Heart where the main character writes a book about cats. They are pretty similar though!

First saw a preview for this movie when I was 10 and now I can finally watch it! I love the design of the whole place, they certainly don't skimp on colors. Shame we don't know what happens from then on..

yea I love how bright and colorful everything is XD Its like acidy =3 and I love acidy when theres no need for drugs XD

And yes I wish there was more to it- but I think a sequel would ruin it- I dont think the story or anything would be as good- and as much as we'd want more I think that when we have it, it wouldnt be up to our expectations- so Its best to leave it how it is.

I agree, there is a lot that was left 'undone'. But, I think the point is to leave it up to the viewers imagination.

It would've been nice to just be told though haha! :D
