@aodhanof90 This one is an Arcan 3.5 Ton. I also have a Napa 3.5 Ton that is by far my favorite. The Arcan is nice for it's longevity, but the Napa is faster, rolls better, and grips the bottom of the car MUCH safer. The head of the Arcan is DANGEROUS! I had an F-150 slip right off of it. The castlated teeth are too short, the rubber pad comes off too easy, and the metal of the cup is too soft. That combined with the wheels being small and rolling poorly = death trap.
hey thanks for the video. i have a problem with my drum brakes that i thought you might be able to help me with. i just replaced my shoes, drums wheel cylinders, and hardware but my drums grab at one spot. i looked around but cant seem to find what is causing this. any ideas?
@briansmobile1 oh i meant when i turn the wheel it only seems to grab at one spot and when i brake going slowly i can feel it grabbing and makes a squeaking noise at that one spot. it also locked up when i braked hard a few days ago.
@briansmobile1 i found out what it was. there was a weird high spot on the hub, looked like a piece of metal got welded on there. the drum wouldnt sit properly because of it so i filed it down and its all good.
Mind if I ask what floor jack you use? - is there a good one that you'd recommend?

@salmonz improper installation order or placement of springs and self adjusting parts.

@denny177 They're only supposed to grab at the top of the front shoe. Is this what yours is doing?

@denny177 Boy, if only I could test drive it- it would be a lot easier. That's weird. I'd get a local expert to drive it for you and see what it is.
