  • Rb drum sets are war better than GHWT drums WAY BETTER

  • fix your fire alarm dude....

  • how could you possibly prefer the RB1 kit to the GHWT kit??, the GH pedal is much better, doesn't snap as often, lower angle, you can tell when it'll register as a hit, the drum pads are quieter, they have better rebound, the cymbals have great rebound, the RB1 kit, is noisy, breaks easily and the pedal sucks balls

  • Redneck!

  • beat the shit out of it and of course the cymbal is gonna go down

  • lmao theyre pretty noisy, drums are supposed to be fuckin loud

  • Thanks for the video

  • can i use the symbals for guitar hero?? are the connections are jacks like the heaadphones connection

  • or you cud get a rock band2 splitter and the kick pedals are fine...

  • Uhm..put tape over the bottom of the holder type deal and it wont move.. my yellow cymbal use to go all over the place but now its the only one that doesn't move.. my other 2 i didnt tape cuz I like to change em a bit sometimes and it makes it a bit more interesting when play haha. But ya my green n blue cymbals dont move :D

  • @Soulphx Why not just drill a hole and put in a screw

  • @bamf6396 Thats good too rofl

  • They need to have The Pick Of Destiny on the music store

  • the intro scared me cause i had my headphones turned up loud!

  • TENACIOUS D!!!

  • i have a problem with the yellow one only it is really lose win i put it on it just flops down i tighten it as much as i can but the cymbal is not tight at all

  • i have a rockand adapter and it works fine and theres no problem with my cymbels

  • what brand are they?? regular rockband or Logic??? or is Logic just for GH? anyways try getting some by logic, they're a lot better.

  • where do u find the freestyle mode?

  • buy a roadie spliter it works good buy from rockband parts

  • i got 4 drum sets one broke and i threw it out but i kept the pipes then burned a hole in the stand and now the second foot pedal is way out to the left

  • you look like Freddie Mercury!!!!!!

  • RB2 has some good songs, but some shitty ones too. same with GH4, It's hard to appeal to every audience without pissing one group of people off. RB1 has the pussiest songs IMO (Garbage BLEH)

  • You've been helpful

  • you went evil on the blue pad

  • nice video, thanks!

  • i got the rock band 2 kick pedal with the adapter to hook up to my rock band 1 stock kit and it didnt work it only worked with the rok band 1 pedal what should i do to fix that?

  • try switching the channels

  • I have a stock EL kit and the double kicker works great try switching the channels I have mine on channel 1 because I got it for 360 channel 2 is for wii and ps3/ps2

  • hey man, your double kick is too close together for a start, id find that incredibly uncomfortable

  • yeah its actually a lot easier to do double bass if they are farther apart..its the same with real drums

  • hey salrayborn and any other ppl having the cymbal problem where they fall down ino what the prob is: first take off the cymbals. on the black 6 inch pole thing connected to the drums is a ring thing under the clips. losen the screw on the cymbal holder and put the top of the cymbal holder around the ring and screw in the bolt thing. now they dont fall...

  • ha mine dont fall eat iot

  • did you find a solution for the cymbals?i have the solution for it falling when you hit it.

  • go on scorehero, goto the Hardware section on the RB side and search it up

  • Try duct tape

  • gh drums are crap and the drum songs are all the same beat on beginner easy and medium

  • For the Double Bass Pedal, you have to get the official rock band double base coupler which is about 20 dollars or so, but it comes with a rock band 2 kick pedal. I have one myself and I can hit both kick pedals at the same time. Hope that helped.

  • there is absolutely no point in hooking up the double bass.

  • this sucks brady

  • frick this

  • well i would get the ion but i just don't av the room so the Rb or wt drums is a OK size i just cant decide which 1 i all ready av the Rb 1 drums i just want to upgrade

  • u didnt clip them all the way my never slip

  • haha nice intro song lol

  • both my cybmbals dropped down, so ya know what i did....SUPA GLUEEEEE!!!!!!

  • theres the green, blue, yellow, and orange port, Whats the black port for?

  • yeah, i wanted to know whhat the black port was for too.

  • Hi Brady :)

  • i have the rb 1 drums i want either the rb 2 drums n cymbals or the world tour drums but i rather have rb 2 so what i want to ask is it worth upgrading to the rb 2 kit and do the cymbals tilt downwards like on the gh set

  • dude screw all that and get an ion kit they are the best !! quiet, cymbals included and no falts yh there a bit pricey but if u buy rb 2 kit and cymbals ur spendin relativly same price

  • what are you retarded? The ion is 300.00 if you get the third cymbal, and the normal rock band drumset is 100.00 plus 60.00 for two cymbal kit expansion packs. Hmm let's see... you just saved 140.00.

  • the rb2 set is shit..

  • i know

  • ur crazy. its better than the gh world tour set

  • hardly

  • AGREED

the GH kit broke and had an incredibly LOUD clunk and clank

but i think i liked the bass pedal better.. cant remember

  • i meant to say its better than the standard rockband drum set, not world tour. lol

  • buy ions

  • you buy ions

  • mine is opposite of that my right stays but my left doesnt

  • it only goes down because you didnt read the directions to install them your supossed to click a latch in place

  • CAUSE ITS THE PIIIIIIICCCCKKKK

  • Nice helpful video, now I know what I am getting into if I buy the cymbals, but I can go without them.

  • Tenacoius D For the win!

  • if you use two guitarhero bass pedles, you can have one down and still press the other

  • No. GH pedals don't work on a RB kit.

  • i had the same problem with my cymbols, but then i found out that black thing that is holding the cymbols together has to click...so check on that

  • when i had the cymbols on there i did everything the way it was supposed to be. the brace clicked together the screws were tight. just wouldn't stay. thanks though

  • @salrayborn wat u do is the part that is kinda sticking out of the black part of the drum u wrap the pole holder around it and it will work

  • @JDR559 lol me too.

  • TENACIOUS D 4 LIIIFFEEEE!!!!!!!!

  • were did you get the symbols from??

  • i got mine @ eb but you can buy them @ best buy and i think some wal-marts have them

  • go to walt-mart and buy guitar hero drum kit becaus it better!!!

  • No. I like the rockband kit. Besides I have already got my goodwoods for them.

  • ok because me i have all guitar hero for ma xbox and i ave all the rock-band cd but i prefer guitar hero it your choice dude

  • true. thats like some people like GH and not RB

  • ok good gaming dude!!! have fun!!

  • my blue pad just randomly stopped reqestering hits??????? and my warranty ran out last month help?

  • the only thing i can tell you is to just go ahead and get the goodwoods. my kit went to shit so i just went ahead and ordered the goodwood kit. they are lot more quiet. never miss a note unless it is your fault. couldnt ask for better. but that is just my opinion.

  • give it time. mine did not have the problem either. but after awhile it started and then the hole kit just screwed up. just saved myself money and ordered the goodwoods

  • im not sure about my set, but i got my rock band 2 bundle a few days ago, and the problem where if u hit the yellow or the blue too close on the edge it sets off the next drum, well mine doesnt have that problem-at all. i even tried it a minute ago, i was hitting the edge as hard as i could and it didnt set off the other drum, idk maybe im just lucky.

  • is that counting dlc or not?

  • ya like u said with the double bass the switch foot action but now when u buy a 2nd bass pedal u get and addapter so it gets rid of the switch foot action so that makes it easier

  • Hm.... with the official adapter for the double bass, you can hold one down and hit the notes with the other.

  • dude u look like serj from system of a down the lead singer

  • ok...dunno if its good or bad

  • good. serj is awesome

  • guitar hero metallica

  • Salrayborn, did you try squeezing the bracket on the blue cymbal til you heard a click? That usually solves the problem for both cymbals.

  • He has big feet lol

  • lol the"cymbal" on the left is actually a hi-hat

  • technically speaking a high-hat is a cymbal

  • no technically speaking the high-hat is two cymbals

  • anyone saying just dont hit the cymbal hard, he stated tapping it throughout the song it goes down yet in the time he had to show u he had to speed up the process. also if u going to buy cymbals they are there for show and fun. hitting them hard is fun. why else pay money to get pads that are harder to hit and make more noise if your not doing it for fun.

  • if you honestly wanted to drill to holes on the side and put some metal pen through it then it wouldnt fall down

  • on the GH:WT drums you can hold one down and hit the other one

becuase its only activated when the pedal is hitting the pad

  • it works like that because the guitar hero world tour pedal is activated by preassure on the pad which sets of the senson under it. the rock band goes of with a button switch. if you hold it down it will send a constant signal to the drumset so that way it don't recognize if you hit the other pedal.

  • When you say the first pedal has to be up when hitting the 2nd one, do you mean all the way up or it just can't be flat on the ground hitting the sensor?

  • it just cant be hitting the sensor

  • OK, that'll be good.

  • i just duct taped my cymbals on :D :D duct tape fixes EVERYTHING!

  • u didnt put on the cymbal right then

its supposed to make a clicky sound that makes sure its secure

    mine is fine

  • u thought it was ions? ur so retarded thats rb2 drum set

  • How do you hook up double kick pedals? Never knew of such an act...

  • What are the name of the that drumset?ION?

  • me too

  • My RB2 drumkit works perfectly. I have the RB2 "special edition".

  • do those cymbals work for the GHWT drumset ?????

  • Why would guitar hero need more cymbals... they already have 2. And no, they don't work for the GH drum kit. No ports.

  • no, GHWT don't have the inputs

  • no you cant just move them side to side up and down

  • really good thanks i liked it *thumbs up*

  • nice video man, your a good guy!

  • oh. ok. mine stopped after a week or so.

  • the problem with the pads is gone because you broke the set in.

  • no cause about 2 weeks after doing this videos that problem started to occur. and now the kit is just screwed up all together

  • egh....instructions!!!!!!! lol thanks but i dont bother with the cymbals any more

  • hey buddy you dont have the blue cymbal completely snapped in where it connects to the pole to the drum kit there is 2 little lips that you got to snap toghether so they dont move around i had that problem until i read the instructions

  • Great video, dude. Thanks for all the info.

  • To keep the cymbals up i take the foam off the cymbal its self and put it on the pole it sits on then push it down into the hole i need to like hit as hard as i can like several hundred times for it to go down

  • whats a microphone splitter

  • well its like a headphone jack but theres two of them and it goes to one

  • it's just a y splitter that has two headphone jacks that connects into one so one side plugs in like a headphone and the other side has two headphone inputs (thats how you make a double bass pedal)

  • i love the idea for the double kick i think i'm going to buy a splitter when i buy a new drum kit stupid guitar hero busted but the kick works fine :)

  • the cymbal spinning is normal, and if your clamp is fine but it still goes down, try useing clear tape to make sure it stays. i have just bought myself cymabals and you can bang anything on the cymbals and drums and it dosnt activate anything else, even though mine is wii.

  • hey dude great video

  • Salrayborn, are you still having this problem with your cymbals? I actually had the same problem. The issue is with the clamp make sure that the center piece (the area between where clamp is connected to the pole and where the clamp is connected to the actual cymbal)is clamped together correctly. when you push that part together you should hear a loud *SNAP*. ever since, I have had no issue with any movement at all.. you don't even have to tighten it completely. its now an A+ product for me.

  • no kinda cant have that problem anymore as my wireless kit is messed up. thanks for the reply/help anyway. just gonna end up getting the ion's

  • Do you still have the messed up kit? If you purchased it within the month you can exchange it for another kit. I got mine from best buy and after mine broke I took it back and upgraded my package for an extra 30 so that I can now take it back as many times as I need for a full year. I'm on my 3rd kit.. its actually a different kit from my original parts wise. This option might be worth it.

  • yeah i still have it cause im also thinking of ordering the goodwoods to. but thanks though

  • Yo the ion's are amazing EXCEPT for the drum pedal so if you can't afford an aftermarket drum pedal i'd get the goodwoods for half the price and get like the destroyer pedal or one similar for 80-100 bucks

  • BIG FEET

  • nice video..not sugar coated..no fancy music or tricky fonts..that was very informative..thanks

  • tenacious d baby

  • not pushing them down, pushing them down, not pushing them down, pushing them down

  • lol...yeah

  • the double bass pedal is sick idea!

  • tenacious d!

  • yea ive seen alot of bad reviews up here about rb2, i just got the game and i havent had any problems yet, but i guess ill watch out for it

  • can its does on Rb1 drums

  • so the cymbals dont go down put duct tape on the bottoms beneath the cymbal pole make 2-4 layers and they wont drop

    note: use blak duct tape

  • if anyone from sweeden reads this. can you plz tell me if the rock band 2 drum kit is available in sweden. cause it's not available in norway. might go to eb games in sweden if it is available there.

  • It's not, the only RB2 related stuff you can get here in Sweden is the game for the 360. None of the instruments has been released yet, not even the game for PS3 and Wii.

  • ok. then it's the same as norway

  • well that just sucks cuz rock band 2 is awesome

  • how do u get the vocals to work? my parents keep saying their going to bring rock band 2 back to Best Buy if i dont get the vocals hooked up plz help. D:>

  • are you asking how to use the vocals while your playing the drums?

  • you know you have to turn a controller on to control the microphone, right? besides that, there shouldn't be a problem but if there is than you should send it back to the manufacturer.

  • the mic should have a plug u have to put in the 2 ports in the 360 at the bottom

  • i have the same problem with my cymbals,only thing...they both go down,that sux....btw i never knew u could use a double kick pedal,which is good info,thx

  • nice video!

  • thanks for the info on the double kick.i thought it was just mine that did that when i first got it.

  • DUCK TAPE!!!!

  • Did you guys know that for about 30 bucks you can get a really well made double bass pedal for rock band? It's a single kick pedal with a jack on the side to plug in another pedal (I use the RB2 pedal). It works amazingly, and a lot better then using a splitter ;)

  • Thanks for the Info. It was good. :)

  • Thanks for all the info man.

    Great video!

  • Weird i don't have the cymbals problem you sure you got it attach right?

  • yeah im sure. as you could see my yellow cymbal doesnt move. i tried tightening it down till i bruised my finger. think im just gonna take a screw and go through it that way i know it wont budge.

  • the problem with the kick pedals is that they work using a magnet switch, the magnets are just a little too powerful, thus when you hold down the pedal, it's still regestering the magnet against the switch, just replace the official magnets on the bottom on the pedal (should be orange on the original rockband drum) and just duck tape or screw in an older magnet from your fridge, worked for me

  • so how did u get the double kick pedel

  • You just need to have 2 pedals and then a Splitter ( that you can buy everywhere ) and its just to hook it up and play =)
