I don't know if anybody cares, but it seems like everyone here either thinks that Muslims are subhumans incapable of original thought, or that they're solely responsible for modern civilization. They're people, just like every other civilization on Earth. Every society has had its highs and lows: when Rome dominated the Mediterranean, the Arabs were just scattered tribals, but a thousand years later, they were in a golden age. And they had their good points and faults just like everyone else.
I don´t know why all of these people are trying to say that there is some kind of conspiracy to hide the accomplishments of Mulsim civilizations hundreds of years ago. I was certainly not taught that. All civilizations have contributed to the advancement of knowledge and the Muslims, being a large and prosperous civilization also did their part. Still I find the accomplishments of the Chinese, Europeans, Ancient Greeks, and the Indians to be more original overall.
