  • Drinking Game. Push play and drink every time you hear "goddamnit"

  • 6:17 Best overreaction.

  • people like illusions, like the past being a cleaner, more pure and gentler time...well,they like the illusion films gave them, but of course it wasn't really like that, people swore , cursed, were violent and a lot more racist than today...like it or not, the best of times is now

  • That lady gets really angry... I'm kind of scared for my life. Haha

  • 4:25 JESUS GET OFF OF ME!! lol

  • I'm usually not a fan of swearing, but I don't actually mind when they do it for some reason ;) maybe because it's cool to see their walls come down as human, or because they never actually swore in the movies ( which is more than todays actors can say for themselves), or maybe just because it's Old Hollywood and I love them :)

  • What foul mouthed arses these people are.

  • That's Boris Karloff at 6:52, playing Mr, Wong, Monogram's answer to Charlie Chan.

  • hehe!

  • You could make a drinking game out of the number of times "goddamnit" is said in this video!

  • Great!

  • Who is that woman at 3:13? She's a real hoot, definitely someone who don't want to anger, lol.

  • @MissSovietBones Not absolutely certain, but I think it's Delores Del Rio.

  • I think that is Carole Lombard tripping at 1:59

  • @fangbanger31 More like Ginger Rogers!

  • @fangbanger31 It may have been from My MAN GODFREY (1936) and the man struggling with the bicycles was William Powell.

  • @MrFrontrowkid No, it couldn't have been My Man Godfrey. It was set in NYC and there were no bicycle scenes.

  • They sure use God's Name in Vain a lot.

  • Where's Cary Grant!?

  • @contryboyisthe1 Get bent, God Damn it.

  • These "Goof Reels" were created by the editors at the studios and shown at the Christmas party at the end of the year

  • lol! So many angry actors!

  • Comment removed

  • 4:15 "Ah...balls." Laughed so much!

  • I wish back in the old movies of this era, they could say anything they wanted. It wasn't until the late 60's early 70's that more and more foul language was said in pictures.

  • Why does it seem so odd to hear these people cursing? LOL

  • @alovelyjessture

    Exactly!!! ;)

  • Its ignorant to tell someone not to be ignorant since the ignorant are ignorant and don't know that they're ignorant.

  • Mayo Methot (Mrs. Humphrey Bogart #3) appears at 2:10 forgetting her lines after "jumping the traces" and she also appears at 4:23 under Ward Bond on the couch, telling him "Jesus, get off of me!" These scenes are from Numbered Woman (1938) made a Monogram Pictures, near the end of Methot's career on screen.

  • not 100% sure, but it might be Ginger Rogers...

  • for some reason i always got the impression that in old movies they NEVER made mistakes. LOL this is funny to see!

  • You see that. 2:30 back in those days they got real aborigines to act in movies!

  • If God damned anything, it was their memory. :-P

  • I should probably recognize him put who is the man throwing the knife at the basket??

  • Hilarioush... Oh God Damn It !!!

  • Could this be Ginger Rogers at 1:59?

  • everyone says god dammit lol

  • @dontayswa I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed that hahaha

  • Does anybody no what movie is at 4:24 or who the actors are?

  • What movie is at 4:24?

  • This is awesome. I am 42 so obviously born after these movies made but I watched a lot of these as a kid. To see them as "real people" makes things so different for me. I always thought the actors of th e 30's thru the 50's were so much different from us, so much more serious but you see that as people, we are so much the same. Just different times.

  • I love how they say "Nuts!" lol. It's pretty funny to watch classic actors from this era of Hollywood cuss.

  • whose at 4:24? what movie is that? it looks familiar but i cant place it? anyone know?

  • I dont know sorry..but im curious myself...doesnt anybody know?

  • For some of these bloopers, I don't think the director should have called "Cut!" A little error or hesitation makes the dialog seem more natural.

  • these golden age cat's had some vicious potty mouths....they skip straight 2 the GD word in a hot second! lol!

  • I didn't know that classic Hollywood actors & actressesof the 30's/40's said bard words! Or messed up their lines. They always came off as perfect in the movies. I didn't think they could swear! I was stupid enough to believe swearing became popular & mainstream from the 1970's and up to today LOL

  • @AmericanEvita Please tell me you're kidding. They were just as prone to mess up as any modern actor or actress

  • @AmericanEvita If you knew anything about literature you would know that profanity was not simply "invented" in the 20th century. They are human just like the people of today are. Don't be so ignorant and naive!

  • @toppahoppa relax sweetheart, he was joking

  • Goddammit.

  • That is Cary Grants unmistakeable voice at 1:40 with the bikes. "Did you hurt yourself? Give it to me...Oh God." that was definately Cary Grant.

  • @ElderPinkerton No way. He doesn't look anything like him.

  • I agree with you.I think it was C.G. too.How can somebody else say it didn't look like him, when the pic was so bad that it really didn't look like anyone, but it certainly sounded like him. ;)

  • @ElderPinkerton That's not Cary Grant. It does sound like him when he says "did you hurt yourself" but the rest doesn't and it doesn't look like him, either.

  • Did that guy say balls? I think that just made my life.

  • Haha, oh my god, where?!

  • @KateIsMySlaveName Oops I thought I had responded, but it's at 4:22

  • @ashleyg325 I've watched that bit about 8 times already. It's so childish, but I can't help snorting with laughter EVERY TIME. XD

  • @ashleyg325 He did!!! :D

  • Who trips at 1:56? Can't make her out

  • I'm not sure who she is. I hope someone who might know will see these comments and post a comment of their own.

  • @DJMChicago It looks like Ginger Rogers.

  • @jennifer1003 It's Ginger Rogers

  • I definitely prefer Warner's players

  • Haha nope, that aint Cary at 1:40, but I can see the similarity
