WECT sure has power, not only being on cable in Wilmington - but in Myrtle Beach, Jacksonville, And Fayetteville (three separate markets outside Wilmington)!
Their X-mitter is about midway between WILM and FAY in order to give more viewers in SE NC the signal without so much going out over water..and when I lived in Raleigh I could sometimes get them without cable! MYR has WIS from Columbia as its other NBC on-cable; JAX has WITN from Greenville and FAY has WNCN from RAL.
The graphics they have now were a step up from these. I hate their current lower-thirds though, they keep them up ALL THE TIME when there's a shot of an anchor and there's a cheap flash thing that goes across it every few seconds.
I had recived there signal once when I was in Norfolk. Quite impressive

Those were the worst graphics they had. The ones now aren't really any better.
