Im a Ukraine fan. Im gutted for Sheva missing that penalty but i felt he had a good game. When we attack like that we can be very good its like the Lobanovski way and very effective - but what i didnt understand was why our manager Mikhalichenko decided to defend the 1 goal lead in the 2nd half vs 10 men, risking an England equaliser. I think this made us nervous and we gave the ball away on a few occasions dangerously.

Im a Ukrainian fan. PLease obviously i am that we won. But i can NEVER understand why Mikhailichenko employed such defensive tactics in the last hour or so of the game, protecting a 1 goal lead. Everyone could see that we are very good in attack when we want to attack and did so in numbers as we HAD to win this game. So why score a goal and then protect it, risking an England equaliser? This tactic made us nervous in the 2nd half and we gave the ball away cheaply on too many occasions.

All of you that replied only mentioned beating Germany this year, big deal. and keep mentioning croatia being good yes they are, behind germany, italy, brazil, spain, argentine, russia, netherlands. last ten years of games. never won again brazil out of 3 games, spain lost 3 out of 4 games. 5 gamea aggainst netherlands never won. 2 games V italy never won. lost 2 games out of 5 V germany cos they had reserve tema for 3 matches. england have alot to learn.

Im a Ukraine fan. Im gutted for Sheva missing that penalty but i felt he had a good game. When we attack like that we can be very good its like the Lobanovski way and very effective - but what i didnt understand was why our manager Mikhalichenko decided to defend the 1 goal lead in the 2nd half vs 10 men, risking an England equaliser. I think this made us nervous and we gave the ball away on a few occasions dangerously.

Im a Ukrainian fan. PLease obviously i am that we won. But i can NEVER understand why Mikhailichenko employed such defensive tactics in the last hour or so of the game, protecting a 1 goal lead. Everyone could see that we are very good in attack when we want to attack and did so in numbers as we HAD to win this game. So why score a goal and then protect it, risking an England equaliser? This tactic made us nervous in the 2nd half and we gave the ball away cheaply on too many occasions.

Its a tough one for England team, getting a big change now for a keeper could cause problems in the World Cup.
