Well them saying cosmetic actually believe it or not is a good thing, I wanted a tummy tuck after having my twins 13 years ago they said no, I wanted gastric they said no. They see me as a healthy able bodied person that needs to work it off. I went to my physical therapeutic doctor last week and he said I needed yoga :-/ to work on my inner core and help find some inner peace. With 3 teenagers and a 10 year old the only peace I get in an ambient at night and call it a day LOL. U will get there
@ThisUserNameUnknown You are So right my friend. I am grateful to be able to move and exercise. I think of the people that are not that lucky and use it to drive myself each day in an effort not to waste my ability to get around and work this off.
What can I say we all have things we don't like or want others to see at times. I feel it takes a great deal of strength to do what you just did. If it helps 1 person it was worth it. Again good luck and KEEP MOVING!!!

U will be absolutely amazed how great of a feeling it is to lose a significant amount of weight. It is like being born again. I'll pray as well. I honestly have a hard time believing it to be cosmetic. My doctor I think would view it otherwise. That seems it would definitely hinder and get in the way of exercise efforts...obviously it doesn't stop you, but still. Aside from the tumor, I'm glad to see your leg to be normal color so you don't really have any issue with circulation. My mom's leg from the knees down were like dark purple...it was gross. I'm super happy to see you doing this journey!

Now that I have shared that information about myself it seems less of a burden to carry around with me. The key is to keep moving and get the blood pumping in our bodies, that helps a great deal I think.
Holy crap....sounds like you have Medicaid cause that's what I have and they are very strict. I hope it'll go away with weight loss or if you lose enough weight insurance might allow to get the excess skin tightened and they can remove it then. At any rate I'll pray for u and support you 110%
You will lose the weight. Being a Canadian I don't get how people are not covered for a surgery like that. I wish you all the best and your right we all have our stuff. Keep going strong.
