We used a second one and when they saw we had more, they decided to talk peace.

@Tha1wan ya ra2 was fun but the sea and ear wars where not that great you had to have it from gound attacks only most tmes so at that point ra3 is better then most other games because it takes the air and sea battles farder

The Soviets are only superior in the games. In real life, the best weapons they could produce were carbon copies of what the Germans made in WWII. Just google the "STG44".

The AK was reliable, sure, but inaccurate. The M16 needed to be cleaned constantly, but it was accurate, and deadly, and even that has been fixed now that Soldiers are using them in sandy countries.
But that's only besides the point, the Russians were pathetic in WWII and were nearly annihilated by the Germans before the weather saved them. The hoopla about them being advanced is also baloney because they didn't invent any of the weapons they copied.

Dude. This games graphics are pretty good. But they are still a joke compared to some shit you can do today. This game is awesomely fun and still follows RTS strategy tradition while being actually FUNNY and FUN. Its an interactive joke, but still a challenge.
The whole C&C series is nice and all, but the only problem I see is that the units and buildings kind of look like toys. I am a guy of realism. I mean seriously, who paints a construction of war purple (who even has the time). Other than that, it's really nice.
i love this game. so much fun! it isnt the most balanced of RTS games, but i think its the most balanced in all of the command and conquer series. and so unique by being able to not just build an entire base on land, but build an entire base out in the sea.
I prefer Japan, but in campaign, russia has the way best story. Its actaully intresting... with Japan it aint so good, and I havent finished allied campaign yet..

It's all opinions but I think it's good and it's had positive reviews. Dawn of War is probably STILL a better RTS but both Tiberium Wars and RA3 are still excellent RTS games. The only real criticism is that they are both a bit "old school" but hey that's what I like.
ra2 is so much better, believe me, i've got this game and it isn't that much fun. After one or two games, the fun is over. You could better buy C&C the first decade for 30 euro's than buying RA3 for 60 euro's.
The game doesn't feels like Red Alert it feels like generals.
RA2 wasn't that good at all in my opinion. In the first RA game there were somewhat realistic units and a semi-believable storyline. In RA2 came the weather machines, tanks turning into trees, etc. RA3 was even worse. Two minutes into the game the game lost me when I had to fire my troops from a tank as human cannonballs. WTF?!
this is a big turn down. if it would just stick to tanks and infantry and stuff it would seem less like "WTF is going on"!!!!! and it could still imply Tesla and Prism stuff

Dude. This games graphics are pretty good. But they are still a joke compared to some shit you can do today. This game is awesomely fun and still follows RTS strategy tradition while being actually FUNNY and FUN. Its an interactive joke, but still a challenge.

EA, evidently changed the Red Alert Theme. They made C&C the serious toned theme and the Red Alert the over-the-top-ridiculous-man-cannon theme.
I lost interest in Red Alert 3, it never tried to make itself serious or semi-serious and your right, RA 3 is too cartooney for me.

The whole C&C series is nice and all, but the only problem I see is that the units and buildings kind of look like toys. I am a guy of realism. I mean seriously, who paints a construction of war purple (who even has the time). Other than that, it's really nice.

i love this game. so much fun! it isnt the most balanced of RTS games, but i think its the most balanced in all of the command and conquer series. and so unique by being able to not just build an entire base on land, but build an entire base out in the sea.

Great game! With all the actors, gameplay, it's the best so far.
But RA3 needs to speed up! Don't be fooled by the trailer, it's much slower when you're playing it.
RA3 REALLLY NEEDS TO SPEED UP GAMEPLAY.
It takes abt 5s realtime for a peacekeeper to aim and shoot.... -.-
And I don't think it's my computer's fault.

your graphics card probably cannot comprehend your graphical settings which is why its slow for you.
Also, playing on easy can be a factor if you want the enemy to hurry up and attack.

It's all opinions but I think it's good and it's had positive reviews. Dawn of War is probably STILL a better RTS but both Tiberium Wars and RA3 are still excellent RTS games. The only real criticism is that they are both a bit "old school" but hey that's what I like.

if you compare this game, with ra2,
ra2 is so much better, believe me, i've got this game and it isn't that much fun. After one or two games, the fun is over. You could better buy C&C the first decade for 30 euro's than buying RA3 for 60 euro's.
The game doesn't feels like Red Alert it feels like generals.

RA2 wasn't that good at all in my opinion. In the first RA game there were somewhat realistic units and a semi-believable storyline. In RA2 came the weather machines, tanks turning into trees, etc. RA3 was even worse. Two minutes into the game the game lost me when I had to fire my troops from a tank as human cannonballs. WTF?!
