Thanks for the vid, pretty straightforward job, but just like seeing how it's done. The other relay harness vid i seen had these little prongs you put in the light, this relay looked exactly like mine.Cake, now my Vue's lit up with the 6000k HID's too :)
do you know how to install subs and amp to after market radio? i have a sonata se. i dont wana buy a new head unit i just wana install subs to my factory radio
@toetagger707 This is not our expertise however, for a subwoofer installation without using an aftermarket radio or amplifier, your best bet is probably a Bazooka tube. Easy to mount and install and uses your stock vehicles wiring to pull bass frequency at a pretty decent price.
Is the relay harness the same for a 2011 Kia optima beacuse I bought a kit not from you guys but from someone else and not same relay harness because I can not connect ground and positive like the pin thing. and as well the bulb does not fit either for my kia optima i got a h11 bulb from carid do i need to return those and buy from you guys please do a video I would love to know how to install on kia optima. Thank you.
Is it going will it be the same plug in play 0n a older sonata?h7 setup without using the power accessory wire? An your personal pinion where would you mount it
@TheS13freak For any Hyundai Sonata model we would recommend the use of the wiring harness. In terms of ballast mount points, we would not be able to provide a recommendation as we have not yet tested and developed on that generation of the Sonata.
For some reason, my driver side bulb isn't working anymore i have only had it installed for about a week... but my passenger side is working fine.. Maybe the bulb or the ballast is bad? What do you think?
@slowkd The wiring harness seperates the power source for the HID kit and pulls power directly from the battery. For the Hyundai Sonata it is recommended you use a wiring harness to protect the vehicle and prevent electrical issues. The XenonSupply kit linked in the description comes with both the wiring harness and modified bulbs for maximum light output.
If you have additional questions just give us a call or email us.
@XenonSupply I just installed a 6000k HID kit on my 2008 Elantra. I first installed with the wiring harness and it did not work. It tried everything. Then I removed the wiring harness and did a straight hook up and they turn right on. Should I still try and install the harness?
@slowkd Is this question in regards to a XenonSupply purchased Product? If so, we recommend you contact the XenonSupply technical support team directly at Help(at)XenonSupply(dot)com or call us at 1-800-840-3240 ext 3.
We always recommend the use of the harness as it helps to prevent electrical issues over time.
I recently bought the same exact lobeam kit for my car! The lights look great. This is an excellent install video. I am now planning on changing out my fog lights with the H8 6000K lights, but don't know how to install them.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. You need to put on here an install video for foglights.
@Jasnlo23 As soon as we can get another Sonata scheduled up for a shoot, we will do a Fog light video. I would recommend removing about half the wheel well liner to get better access to the fog light housings as well as mount the ballasts.
