  • i found many english teachers here in youtube however you are still the best. i can easily follow your intonation and accent :) you teach so well and with the blend of music, you defnitely rock! :)

    Ryan from Philippnes :)

  • Great song!!

  • The music is superbe!

  • Do you think it's a good idea to introduce 'get' as like 'become'?

I get stuck...I am stuck.. He gets out, he is out, etc?

  • I got stuck ( I became stuck)

He got out of the elevator. ( he exited or left)

As you can see, 'get' can be used differently.

  • I started to watch your videos today and I've really liked them. You seem to be a PERFECT TEACHER and I can't put up with waiting longer to have classes with you. Maybe soon... =D

You are welcome regarding posting the images of Paris. It was a very enjoyable experience to have lived and taught there. I am happy you are learning phrasal verbs and having fun at the same time.

  • They say that the American "gotten" is more conservative or archaic(?) than the English "got".

Thank you for your images of Paris ad the Champs-Elysées , now I am living in the South West near the Côte Basque.

Good job about the phrasal verbs , it is not a nightmare to find them now.

  • Hello, HELLO...??? Hello!!!

    Good Steve, lol/kkk (boa!!)

Nice class about GET, is very used and complicated.

I have gotten stuck in the elevator between the floors, but I got out like a lizart, because was BLACKOUT!!! Was funny

Thank you for teach us/obrigado por nos ensinar.

    Ronny/Brasil

  • Steve, wonderful class/lesson.

    I"m Ronny/Brazil.

    God bless your intelligence.

    Have you ever been here?(Brazil)

  • Ciao! Ciao Ciao! GinBlog82!

Thank you for your kind comments! I was saying to my wife just yesterday how happy I am to be able to teach people and make a memorable experience for them. learning is all about experience!!!!

Ah! So you know what I'm talking about regarding my wonderful time in Paris. Those elevators are soooo cool! We don't have then here in Canada! Paris was such a unique place!

Truly one of the 'cities of lights'

  • Thanks for the compliments about the music. If you are having fun and learning something like phrasal verbs, I am happy!

    Have a great day!

    Steve

  • I'm watching all your lessons because I like your teaching and (of course) because I really need to improve my english, everything in particular the comprehension of the language in real-life situations, so in my case idioms and phrasal verbs are very useful. I liked a lot the subtitles, the quiz and your constant efforts to be understood by everybody with a normal (I guess slow from your point of view) and clear pronunciation. Sorry for my "rusty" english ;) best wishes from Italy, bye!

  • I'm not expecting a new music in this lesson... "Get Champs Elysees" is really good, like the get song. You are in a great mood! I enjoyed all your trip in Paris, in particular when you talked about the elevator. When I visited France for the first time I was impressed by the beauty of the city and not by the security of the elevators :) i had a constant fear to get stuck in the elevator between the two floors... you are totally right! :)

  • Hi mehdisl3 ,

Thanks! Please say hello to all your friends and family in Iran!!!!

    Steve

  • thanks a lot . it was great.

    a new student
