@milzy83 It's Ford that tuned a Volvo-engine. The 2.5 has been with Volvo since the 850. The thing about this car is tha it has a steering/handling like a STCC-car, which wont be the case if you buy a VW or an Audi. But then, Volvo will never make this car :-( It'd cost too much

Sure everyone on this YouTube video wants one, but if it costs 20k-30k GBP to make and they sell them at 15kGBP a piece, even if they sell 40million, then they will still lose money...

That is the Volvo test track in Gothenburg. I was there testing the whole line at the same time as Polestar was praticing pit stops and had a shakedown.
Let me tell you all that this dude can not drive. The test track is quite fast but it looks like my grandma in a V70

Because the point of this video is to show people this car exists but you can't buy it.
Remember this engine is from a Focus Rs 300bhp which they have tuned to 400bhp.
They then put a haldex system on it.
I can buy a car with a haldex system on it for £20-25k put a tune and better exhaust and colling etc.
400bhp done deal!!

Though it makes me wonder, the polestar C30 has almost twice the bhp, better steering, better brakes and better looks. If volvo ever makes the Polestar C30, I'll be the first one to sign up for one. I'd sell myself on the streets to afford it, but damn it, I would come up with the money!

They've done it before with the 850R, one of the best factory "sleepers" ever built. Even the man himself, Jeremy Clarkson, raves about how good they are. Yes, he does, read his books.

What we all forget here is....... They have only built a prototype! So...... There is a "No Holds Barred" on what they will fit on a "One Off Special"...... So we all know that it would be a fantastic car, but it would cost way too much money or it would be cheaper and not so special as the one we see here!

There's a group called "The people want the polestar C30" on facebook. Join it! Volvo says that it got 0-62 in 4.6 seconds, but that was going easy on the transmission and that if it were to go full blast that it'd be about 4.2 or less! PLEASE JOIN THE FACEBOOK GROUP!!!!! Type in Polestar C30 and it will come up.

@aftereffects Volvo have done good in the past and wont dissapoint in the future. Remember the S70R? and the S60R? Soon to be an S80 R and already in production is the C30 R, Volvo has done good and hopefully will in the future. Keep your hopes up man, something in the future will amaze you and if not, ill eat my own foot : )

@cody227 > Don´t you mean V70 R?!.. Well, good cars for a Volvo.. I have waiting for a Volvo to match the Mercedes-Benz AMG, Audi RS4/RS6, BMW M3/M6/Z4/Z6.. Those kinds of cars.. Not all in firts hand.. And not this one, maby onely with the performance it got right now.. If they tune it down it can forget some models.. But a real badass Volvo, 500+ bhp, 600+ Nm, 0-100 at 4 sek or less... My good what a car that will be, for a limited buy. Just for fun to a beginning, then we see what happens.
