I now have another use for my steamer! This looks much simpler and less time consuming than traditional "wet" blocking. Great video.

Do you think you could use this technique on a needlepoint canvas? I have one recently finished and my dry cleaner has gone out of business and none of the others in our town do blocking? What do you suggest? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the great video. I was just searching for tips on blocking ribbing and there are alot of videos, but i watched yours and realised that the sweater Im knitting is your Pin up Queen, a nice coincidence. My yarn is wool & Bamboo though so im a bit worried

I have a question......Do you actually touch the material with the steamer? My husband got me the same steamer and I tried it out. I am not sure if I shoudl touch the fabric because I am afraid that it will "iron" my peice of knitting.
