what if you do grind and you hit that little lever on the trunk and your wheels fall right off and splat, how is this made so that wont happen, it seems like a good idea but it looks like it has some flaws, ive had bolts come of my axle and my wheel pops of but a skateshop will give you a bolt for free, my wheel fell of cause of the bolt comeing of and then i got a free one form LBskate and that bolt has not fallen of once and it is pritty good in there it not barely on the trunk its on it

@radom3344 From my understanding, you want the nut just barely off the bearing for a good adjustment, so the wheel is not to tight. if that is the case then with mine it would never be tight and never be too loose.

GRiiiind POP! Off comes the wheel. NOOOOO!!! ARRRRG! CRASH! I can see it now. But honestly I ride my board for months and only remove the wheels to clean the bearings. Quick release wheels just arent something that I think are really needed. Unless your super lazy I guess "adjusting" your wheels would be a issue.

dude this idea is great.....for skate boards i think its cool but if you did this on longboard it would be way better..... there is to much chance with skateboard and tricks and stuff..longboards not so much maily cruising and bombing hills. and with long boards you change the wheels more depending on what your doing like for speed,cruising,or sliding....idk I'm just saying i think this would transfer over well with longboards

If a rock or stick hits that release lever Your Done Son! Besides I like to be able to hand tighten the nut to just the right tension. As a wheel gets some age on it you have to tighten it a little more. The never need adjustment thing isnt that big of an issue is it?? What ever floats your sushi boat.

Your idea is really smart, and I wish to see them in every skateshop there is or atleast online. You explained in both your vids that the wheels dont come off and its really easy to change the wheels. But how does the axel hold up, as in the trucks itself? Would they break like some walmart trucks or would they last through plenty of grinds and tricks?

You dont have to do either, they are in a fixed position with no tension on either side of the wheel.
