I own several cats, and have had each one spayed/neutered. I also opted, although more expensive, to sedate the cats in order to keep their pain and discomfort to a minimum. Before the medication wore off entirely they acted very similar to the cat in this video. Would you like to be operated on without anesthesia? Does this mean anyone under anesthesia is 'mutilated'?

@ninja6kid, I wouldn't call spaying/neutering mutilation as it does not prevent the cat from living a normal life and is not something from which it won't recover to full functionality apart from reproductive capability which, if you ask me, is not an essential part of the life of a normal pet cat or dog. The advantages (prevention of unwanted offspring) far outweigh the disadvantages.
