  • my chopper sucks. after some big repairs it wouldn't lift off anymore. i did try alot already, but nothing helps.

  • One of your blades isn't on upside down is it? Have you checked the pitch? It's possible that when you throttle up you either have too much or not enough pitch.

  • These are the factory positions of the dip swithes for the Walkera Dragonfly 22e radio. 1 off 2 on 3 off 4 on 5 on 6 off 7 on 8 From factory is on. If moved to the off position you can manually adjust your PLT/PIT settings on the radio, but once you do this you can't go back to factory settings. 9 on 10 off
  • Don't flame me for sounding retarded, I don't know which is on position, is it left or right?

  • Just wondering if your going to do more Walkera vids.. I am new to R/C heli's and just purchased a Walkera 22 with the LIPO battery upgrade

  • just to let you all know this doesnt work on a trex the blades will still destroy the tail boom and the blade grips.... and every thing elce!

  • Actually this was tried on the trex with success. If you have a hard enough landing or tail boom landing, nothing will prevent a tail strike. This is also good practice to help adjust blade tracking.

  • Oh, and if anyone can tell me if there is a 'reason' why nobody uses all 6 (six) of the "training gear's/balls", thus adding the one in front, and the one for back? Is it just a waste of space/weight? or any pre-discovered balancing problems? etc? making them pointless in other words? Thanks :)

  • I have a question for anyone, just how much "slack" should be showing when you move the main-gear to when the blades start to move? (by hand/manually that is)?

    Mine will 'lag' about 1 full inch before 'Syncing with gear', etc.

    There are a couple of those "spacer/infinti bolts" they are tightned on mine, etc, but is there a "t-shape/or header adjustment needed? ( i would think it may be, but I am not sure.)  Thanks for all the vids! :)))

  • There should be no play in the gear to shaft, or T-shape holder to shaft set screws.

    It sounds like the set screw has loosened just above the main gear. Uae the small allen wrench to tighten it and when you do move the gear back and forth till it stops. The set screw makes a dimple in the shaft and you want to get it in the same spot. The T-Shape holder set screw will come loose to. Tighten it in the same way. That should take care of the problem.

  • Good instructional hints!! You should start a course in your district for new R/C helicopter owners.

    I have yet to shoot a video of my Walkera 4 Channel job, the weather here has been atrocious,when I did get a flight I over-corrected on the nose attitude and put her into the ground with damaging results ( I broke the main rotor head) Oh well so be it. I will keep you all up to date as things get better.
