Poor Goliath, he doesn't stand a chance against Jewell's speed does he? Callie would understand perfectly! She can't run anywhere near as fast as Shadow. So, in order to give her a chance, I make Shadow sit or stand behind me and stay while I chuck the ball for Callie (who, by the way is sitting further away from me). Once Callie has the ball, I release Shadow.
@SamsNorthernGirl The thing is, Goliath doesn't really try for the ball. He's not really interested. Even when we go without Jewell, he may chase it once or twice but he doesn't have the same level of interest as Jewell. That's how he is. He's more or less just chasing Jewell.
