This story really upsets me because I have two adopted cousins who are from another country and my whole family loves them to death (they're one and three). My aunt and uncle adopted them just last month and and if anyone ever laid a hurtful finger on them, my aunt and uncle would snap their arm in half!

Aw this is so sad! How can anyone be so cruel? To beat a tiny little helpless child.....ugh I feel so angry again! I look at my children and I couldnt imagine even wanting to do something as sick as this!

This is so so sad. I cannot even believe that it is in some people to do that to a child. It's unbelievable. Your videos are all SO good! I learn about 1/2 of these stories from your videos. It's really awesome what you're doing for these kids. I have a question though, where do you learn about these stories?

Thank yo so much for your kind words...Hmm..Some of the children are from my home country....Others sometimes I see a picture of them and it captures my heart and I try to learn more about them, some I am sent, some I read about on MySpace.....I learn these stories from all over. To find out more about them by news articles, messages to families etc.

Thats horrible! how can someone kick and punch a baby,especially in her stomach. Just 2 years old!, her disgusting mother obviously had no patient and didnt care about her. R.I.P Little Nina, Your now free from pain and hurt xx

Beautiful video. I always knew that children are angels from the day they are born they do not do anything wrong in this world but love and spread joy why kill these precious children. I hope that mother gets life in prison for what she did. Or life for a life would be better she deserves a death sentence

Shes so sweet, the fact that her adoptive mother did it to her makes me mad, because when you adopt a child its supposed to be a start of a new life.

Peggy pleaded guilty to second degree murder and was setenced to 25yrs in Prison.Nina's sister in her new home had been adopted from Ukaraine. The last I have heard she was being taken care of by Chris's sister. There is one more thing I wanted to share, 60,000 Russian children have been adopted by American Families out of those a great number of them, when they come to America are murdered by their adoptive parents. Nina is only one fo the many.

There are no words to explain my anger at this. Why didn't the mother just give Nina to a relative for a while or take a time-out to calm down? Instead, she beats Nina. People like her don't deserve to walk this Earth!
