I just spent a week on a guided hunt in KY all stands were baited with corn and deer were not hitting the corn....Corn is not a golden ticket to killing deer. The big 8pt I bow killed on the edge of a alfalfa field.. We need to stay united as hunters and don't tear down each other for our tactics or choice of weapons

Way to not take that buck. It's hard sometimes to let ones like that go. But if you shoot every deer that looks like that, the chances of you getting a BIG one gets slimmer and slimmer. Good buck management.

I'm in Ontario Canada. That's corn we put down, usually the mature bucks won't come near it as they realize it's too good to be true. The 12 pointer I took on December 26th was in a different tree stand and he came into a buck urine scent canister I hung in a tree.
it feels good to see people hunting in the snow, all you see on most TV shows are places like south texas, its a lot harder hunting in the snow but it feels more rewarding when you get one,i myself injoy it hunting snow, i hunt in norther WI.

Yes in Ontario Canada it is legal. We only bait in a couple of spots because we usually NEVER see nice bucks near the bait. That is the biggest buck I've ever seen at a bait stand but I passed on him and took a bigger buck 2 weeks later in a funnel with a code blue buck urine scent wick.

in alabama there is not a single person that would let a buck like that go, we shoot fawns almost, but thats why our deer hunting sucks

Take whatever you can for your first deer. I got my first buck this season, just made a vid on it. It's only a 4 point but i'm proud of it.
