@pearljam109 I don't use rewire or Logic. But in Digital Performer, you simply record MIDI tracks into audio using any software instrument. I am 99% sure Logic does the same thing. So, in essence, there's no need to manually record the ARP 2600V.
@gnasher1993 you may also find the complete version on rapidshare by searching "minimoog osx rapidshare" on google or "arp 2600 osx rapidshare", ecc....
I kinda notice that you don't care for effects patches, like R2D3. You play one note and move on which, to me, doesn't really give a fair representation of how that patch sounds.
I've really enjoyed your tour of the Arp 2600 V. I have been exploring the demos of it as well as the Moog Modular V. While I am enticed by the extensive programming potential of the Moog, I find the Arp to be more immediate and less intimidating in its learning curve. I am curious as to what led you to make the choice for the Arp from the products in Arturia's line. Thank you for the great videos.
Thanks, glad you've enjoyed the videos. Way back a long time ago I had several ARP synthesizers, but I never had a 2600. Always wanted one, so when this "virtual" version came out (at a fraction of the price) I just had to have it.
Excellent demo again, keybdwizrd and thanks for including the preset names on screen. I got this softsynth a couple of weeks back and am still exploring the presets. There are some great sequences and I love the sound.
Hey, is there any way to rewire this to Logic? If not, then how do I record sounds from it?

So I guess I can't use this in a live gig?
numanuma20 11 months ago
@numanuma20 Lots of people use software instruments live, typically running on laptops.

Thanks for helping me make my mind up, I will defenitely buy one, I love the sharp filter. And the visual effect for the Gost preset made me giggle.

does each patch have its own effect i.e reverb delay etc?
bentsynth 3 years ago
Yes, the ARP2600V features it's own delay and reverb, and these settings are stored as part of the patch.
