@coltblooded, yes, they are amazing dogs and incredibly sweet if you raise them right! It is helpful if you live in a place that has snow because they prefer the cold weather. And just be prepared to brush it a lot because the shed like mad! My family has found it helpful to get mine taken to the groomers right when she starts shedding in about June and then the hair won't be as bad cuz the groomers gets most of it out!

@coltblooded Well the thing about Huskies and Malamutes (especially Malamutes) They are a lot to care for, so be in for much pruning and exercise. They love cold climates. If you DO own one in a warm climate, make sure they get plenty of water and brushing out their thick coats. But you should really check some websites to find out what dog is best for you.
