  • This makes me so jealous! :P

I want this pin so bad but will most likely never be able to afford it. xD

Can I have yours? Joking just joking xD

  • @PinBallReviewer Well....you asked nicely! :0 Thanks for watching my friend.

  • @spida1a No problem!

I always enjoy watching the new pins you get.

One of my goals is to get a brand new in box pin.

I'll need to fix a lot more pins though for that.

The one I am restoring is taking awhile due to wanting everything looking good and not rushing it.

  • This could be on PBS!

  • @adeckerbuck Ha ha. Hey, thanks for that. Hmm.....NerdTastic, next on PBS! Lol> :)

  • wow seriously your videos are amazingly professional, clean and well structures...great production value!! i kinda give stern a pass since theres not really anyone out there thats making pinball games, but i dont like the thought of making different versions of the same table, its like how games nowadays give you different items if you preorder at a certain place IE arkam asylums catwoman scandal

  • @darkinertia2 Thanks very much. I appreciate that. Thanks a lot. :)

  • sweet vid. Very cool looking pinny

  • Congrats dude, looks like a wonderful addition to your collection.

  • Very awesome looking machine, that Megatron Multiball freaked me out too!

  • gorgeous machine...

  • you can only smile : ) lol nice!

  • Your child like delight in collecting games and toys cracks me up. I wish you lived closer to me, as I could see you and I getting along quite well. ;)

  • @SkippyChurch LOL! I promised myself that no matter how old I got...I would try not to lose that! So far, we're good to go (though off-camera I am quite jaded...haha!). Thanks for watching!

  • Great video as always Chris! Really like the presentation/production of this one. Oh and funnily enough, Soundwave was my first and still favorite Transformer! Looking forward to the next video!

  • @ZetZatar Thanks a lot. I really appreciate it! And yes...Soundwave rules!!! :)

  • Thanks for showing this LE Chris, I might see this game over at the Skate Shop in the East Village with Nick from Arcade Hunters later on.

All those G1 Transformers did bring back a lot of memories for me, if I kept them and in box... oh, man. Christmas of '84 was a good year for me. = )

  • @OldSchoolNYCGamer Thanks for watching. Did you end up going ? I haven't been to Jon's since he remodeled the place. :)

  • @spida1a - John's still working on the shop but it's getting there. Me and Nick filmed as lot of footage, I also work around the corner from there now so I will be able to get more footage in the night so the glare won't drive me nuts when I'm filming either.

  • @OldSchoolNYCGamer Oh how great. Let me know next time you go...I'll meet ya'!

  • @spida1a - For sure Chris, I'll PM you my contact info. Keep up these great videos sir. = )

  • Very cool!

  • @peaugh Thanks a lot for watching. I'm glad you enjoyed it! :)

  • Well videos don't just become unlisted by themselves. I also noticed you deleted my and your comments. Was that intentional or is something else going on here you're not aware of?

  • @Crashdance22 If i had a better explanation for it I would give it. But it was NOT listed off and on since the minute I uploaded it. I have been talking with them about it.....so guess what...it was "listing and unlisting itself" by itself somehow. :)

  • @spida1a Good news is it seems to be okay now. So, hopefully things have been figured out. Ha ha. Thanks for the concern. I almost re-uploaded it...or cried...one of the two. :)

  • Another fine video Chris !

  • @mnpinball Thanks my friend. I appreciate it. :)

  • This looks to be a pretty great pin Chris.

  • @jboypacman Thanks my friend. Hope your year is going well so far! :)

  • Awesome videos! You need to go HD! :)

  • @SirChaos Thanks a lot. Hopefully Christmas will be a good HD camera / editing software year for me in 2012. :)

  • I have a TF LE myself, but enjoyed watching your review and hearing your perspective on the game. Looking forward to part 2

  • @gl00gun Thanks my friend. :)

  • FANTASTIC review! Felt as if i was unboxing that myself. Really, great editing. Must have been taking you a while to put it all together, it is appreciated, I assure you!

  • @HENCEtheWEATHER Thank you SO much for saying that. I really appreciate it. I'm sorry the "unboxing" and "first play" were a little "soft focus." I was having camcorder troubles...ugh! Thanks again! Means a lot!

  • Thank you for another great review Chris :)

  • @metalcoola Metacoola!!! You're awesome. Thanks so much!!!

  • Awesome vid! thanks for much for sharing. it's the best NIB vid i've seen so far :-) You're a complete shameless fanboy geek!!! and that makes your enthusiasm completely contagious! After playing a pro and being underwhelmed, i'm pumped again to try out an LE someday.

i agree a higher resolution vid would be even nicer. Can't wait for the next parts of this review.

  • @flamuende Unfortunately I don't shoot or edit in "high def" and this is the best I could get YouTube to compress my standard-def footage. But, I appreciate it and thanks for watching ! :)

  • I keep waiting for you to send me the "The Getaway" pinball machine. I check my mail daily but it's not here yet :(

other than that, great vid :)

  • @shadowflame1976 Ha ha. Oh...it's coming...yeahhhh : )

  • Awesome edition to your collection buddy. Excellent review Chris.

  • @lvpepe38 Thanks a lot. :)

  • Awesome! Thanks for making this video

  • @mcsdhacker Thank you for watching. I hope you enjoyed it. :)

  • very cool

  • @jeffyj1000 Thanks for watching!

  • Chris, Awesome machine and great video as always!! Really impressed with your NIB collection of G1 figures as well. You should check out some of my transformer review videos sometime ha. Keep up the good work brother and I look forward to parts 2 and 3 of this video series. Best, Ryan

p.s. still haven't beaten any of your darn high scores on Demo Man!

  • @rwalters6986 Oh man. If you had seen the collection a dozen years ago....I mean, it was out-of-control. Great to hear from you Ryan! :)

  • This video is so good, I think I shall watch multiple times.

  • @TheSideshowNick And I...shall thank you multiple times. :)

  • "and act like a goober" i loled. great video, it's nice to see the little details of the machine. interesting to finally see what a "tilt" looks like on the inside

  • @Ponimaju I just wish I had not shot most of that "unboxing" footage in 16x9. It "soft focused" almost everything (I sharpened it the best I could but...ya' know, can't work miracles). ha ha. Thanks for watching!

  • Amazingly detailed cabinet and stunning artwork and exceptional sound! Very nice video!

  • @marstaurius Thanks for watching!

  • Chris! Awesome Video, cant wait for the others!!

Can you describe in 5 words or less the new pinball box smell? :)

  • @tryton1000 New pinball smell should be boxed! It's like New Wood and Lacquer. Ha ha. :)

  • OMG orgasm ! new pinball vidéo :D

this machine looks fantastic, looking forward for part 2 and 3

  • @Vayr0n Thanks for the support as always!

  • You actually liked the Michael Bay Transformers films? Alright bud, hand over your geek card.

Alright, I'll let this slide just this once. ^_^

  • @jedahdoma Sure did. Love 'em. And I make no apologies for it. :)

    Thanks for watching.

  • @spida1a How come you'd have to upgrade your editing software? Does your existing version refuse to edit any video larger than a certain resolution? Does it refuse to export a video larger than a certain resolution? Can it simply not-handle big resolutions?

Also--is the video that small when you get the original file? If the original video's large, it might just be the compressed version you upload to Youtube..

  • @TrueSoreThumb Adobe Premiere Pro, which I use at home and always have, will not edit nor read HD footage. So, if I buy an HD camcorder, I will end up swapping it to standard def at this point, which will end up doing the same job as my other camera (perhaps hand light a bit better, but otherwise....). My software is very outdated at this piont and I'm not even sure if my computer will handle it. The video is the highest rez .wmv file I can create. Looks good on computer.

  • @spida1a

Hm... I could only guess that Premier Pro can't read the HD format you'd be trying to open. I mean, it'd be silly if it just refused to process videos that are simply large in resolution, right? (Sorry, talking to myself a bit..)

I take it you've privately done different testing encodes with Youtube, so.. Yeah. I really appreciate what you do, and it sounds like you're doing the best with what you got. B) Thanks for thinking of this ahead of me, btw!

  • @TrueSoreThumb Yeah, I really have. And no matter what I do...I actually either get horrible color desaturated, or a bit more "compression". There is never a nice in-between. Lol. Ugh!!! :) I think no matter what, standard def in general (Youtube or otherwise) is just always going to look downgraded on these sharp screens we have now...you know? Just wish YouTube didn't compress the stuff as much...maybe they prioritize the HD footage?).

  • Unlike many of their other games... this limited edition is extremely different from the regular version. I don't know which one I like better!

  • @MoreDakka101 Thanks for watching!

  • Great vid, as always

  • @rocker12347 Thanks for watching my friend!

  • hah, not bad.....like the LED lights pluse the little toys in it and what not, still have you ever played this game called "Zen Pinball"?

  • @KGA7771 Yes, Zen is fun. I like it. I have a few tables on my PS3 for it. Never will be as good as the "real thing," but they did a great job with the physics and designing the tables much like late solid-state machines. It's a great game. :)

  • Didn't I see a video on this pinball machine before on your channel?

  • @weirdproq1 I had some of the "first play" up originally after I first played it. Yup. :)

  • hahahahahaha YES WASPNATOR!

  • @MrTechnoSqueek Hell yeah! Waspinator and Rattrap, my two favorite characters. LOL. :)

  • @spida1a hahahaha oh Rattrap he was cool man If I can find a way I have all of the Beast Wars episodes I will try to find a way to send to you sometime

  • @MrTechnoSqueek Aww, thanks man. I got 'em all myself. ;)

  • That was a GREAT video review !! Cant wait for the other parts.

What did you mean about the cannon and multiball not working right ?

  • @mikelieber1 The balls are supposed to "shoot out" ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR in choreography with the cannon recoil / sounds. If you watch mine (except for when I cut to b-roll the second time to show how it works correctly), it only shot ONE out...then nothing, then ANOTHER, then nothing. It's a poorly designed lock/trough area that I will go over a bit more in the other sections. Some of us are still trying to get it working perfectly. Ha ha. :)

  • Generation 1 or gtfo

  • @MrBacchus18 Ha ha. G1 is the best! :) Thanks for watching!

  • Here's a noob question: Why is there 2 coin slots?

  • @Evilclown1986 In case one slot jams up in the arcades, you have a backup. At least, that is what I always have been told (it could be they were just seeing double, ha ha). Especially with these particular coin doors, the cubes tend to get stuck or break. Thanks for watching!

  • @spida1a I've never seen any IRL so I was thinking that maybe one was for the Autobot game and the other was for Decepticons, until I realized you choose that when you start the game

  • Great Job as always Chris!! I see my Diner in the corner :)

What camera do you use for your videos?

  • @wmspins Ha ha. That.....might be the Diner! LOL! I use a simple Sony Handycam or, in this case, I used a Canon XL1 (which does a slightly better job...though they are both outdated now compared to what's out there).

  • you make the best 4:3 pinball videos in the world :D

  • @ivanmeggy Ha ha. Damn straight! Imagine my surprise when I shot "some" of the early footage in 16x9 with my camera and then found out the awesome semi-professional Canon XL1 is notorious for having soft-focus with incorrect sizing in that format. GRRR!! Thanks for watching!

  • @spida1a spida1a i don't care about the screen resolution.... you still make the best pinball videos on the world and im a big fan :D peace from Serbia :D

  • Great vid, Chris, so much content, good bg music, and i LOV that transition sequence - so '80s Lol!!

    =b

i look forward to pt. 2; thx for post

  • @izaurralde Thanks my friend. I ... try my best :)

  • if I was in the USA, and "so inclined" I'm burgle you to get something that damn fine Chris! lol

I remember watching the other transformers LE unboxing you posted at little while back, and now you ARE living the dream Chris, well deserved congratulations, and I had no idea you were "that" much of a transformers fan! Peter Cullen Signed movie soundtrack? Boxed Blaster? you're collection makes my childhood collection (which my parents STILL have in their attic!) look like a yard sale!

  • @steveelmy LOL. Oh man...you should have seen the collection a dozen years ago. It was ... nuts. The pinballs were down to about three (ha ha) and the Transformers were NUTS. Thanks for watching and I'm glad you enjoy it!

  • Im very Jealoues ;)

But i you hav to do a Movement from your House/Flat what ever, that would be very difficult right?

    ;)

  • @Lorrer09 Ha well, I don't live with my games. They are all in basement / storage basically now (I set most of them up to shoot this vid). I only had a week with TF so....yeah, luckily I had somewhere to store them while I left town. :)

  • Would have gone Decepticon all the way. SCREW THE AUTOBOT SCUM!! ; P

  • @yumyumeatemup I have to be honest, I tend to lean toward the Decepticon myself. LOL. Thanks for watching!

  • Great video, as always. Now give us part 2, Chris :-).

  • @Sebion1980 Ha ha. You got it. Well...eventually. :)

  • This video just made my day! Thanks Chris!

  • @gentleuterus Hey, that's awesome. Makes me feel special to make someone's day. Thanks for watching!

  • The transition animation was great! Caught it a few days ago but "disregarded it" ;) Can't wait to see part 2, looks like a fun table.

  • @TwigsInc Ha ha. I tried to use the "Stern" versions of the logos and recreate it the best I could. Thanks for watching!

  • Seeing this reminds me of why I'm a Super/Real Robot fan, that is all sorts of AWESOME!!

  • @pookieizzy7 Ha, awesome man. Thanks a lot!

  • i also laughed when you picked the game up with the ball plunger. haha

  • hey chris, another great one you made, cant wait for part 2!

  • @stealthfreak Thanks Stealthfreak!! :)

  • Can't wait for part two Chris. I still hate how Stern is cutting corners with Pro editions and leaving all the goodies for collectors. Transformers Pro when I played it (1.0 software) felt really bland and without the drop target blocking the lock it was way too easy to get multiball.

  • @PressStartComic Thanks for watching my friend!!

  • This was an awesome video! That was a blast from the past! Especially seeing some of the old G1 Transformers! I owned a G1 Soundblaster with Laser Beak and two G1 Star Screams!

I have a question as it relates to the pinball machines. From what I can tell, you have your pinball machines in the basement. How do you contend with your basement's dampness? Won't this affect the pinball's electronic components over time?

  • @segagenesis1989 We have a dehumidifier running at all times (winter and summer). It helps keep it dry down there, thank goodness. The only time I've ever had an issue is when the games were ALL on at once during a party and it got SUPER HUMID with a million people down there. Ha ha. Thanks for watching!

  • Great video! Thanks Chris. Always enjoy your Pin videos.

  • @TheGreenMonkeyKing Thanks my friend!!

  • Your videos are always a joy to watch. Truly awesome Chris, I can't wait for the other part.

  • @manikmista665plus1 Hey, thanks a lot. I try my best....

  • That table is more then meets the eye spida1a far as the software go's huh ~_^

  • @Progearspec Ha! Couldn't have said it better myself. ;)

  • This was totally KICK ASS!!! who the hell would thumb this video down? seriously, wtf and 24 views and only 1 like? total bullshit. This was seriously killer Chris. The game play was great and like you said, Im sure they will add more to it later on. I dont even want to guess what this ran you cost wise but a fantastic addition to the collection none the less.

  • @lukemorse1 Thanks my friend. Actually "two" thumbs down now. Ah well.....I tried.... :)

  • im more jealous of your transformers collection, that your pinball one! lol

  • @artnandez Ha ha. oh man, I miss the old collection. It was fun pulling out what was left. Lol! :)

  • holy shit this is an awesome video with an awesome pinball machine!

  • @imarocksinger Thanks my friend for watching. :)

  • holy shit I am 2nd

  • @123doomdoom Holy s)#t...I'm replying to #2. :)

  • @spida1a haha thanks. I love watching your youtube videos, and they go well with cold beer.

  • holy shit im first

  • @match219 Ha ha! BAM!@ : )
