There are lots of ways to play songs and people tend to forget that in these types of videos on youtube the reason why some chords are used versus others is simply b/c it depends on the level of viewers they are intending to teach it to.

Hey, nice video but you play G then Bminor for the verse. Pretty sure the first two chords of the verse are G then B (major).

It definitely is in the original (slade) version, and think quiet riot are just playing a power chord there so it's not really either way.

I don't wish to be pedantic but i think (particularly if you want it to sound like the slade version) it's quite a distinctive part of the song.
