But for younger generation, under 30 year olds, there is almost no noticeable difference. This phenomenom is present in many middle/upper-middle income countries around the world. Even if it is more accute in Russia.

America isn't sure how to deal with mail order brides, so many have nowhere to go when things go south. On many sites, they are regarded as merchandise, and the majority of sites make it clear that men want sexy, subservient women. It's actually a really depressing situation.
