Im 13 years old, and I've been following WVU since I was 6. This was one of the greatest games I ever witnessed.

@wvmtneer96 Now that I think of it, I was actually 7 when I started, and the lville game was the first game I ever saw, what a game. Several great games since then. And the bowl games vs UNC and Georgia/Georgia Tech.

@ThePlaystation34life same, I'm 14 and have been a Mountaineer since 2005. Well, my parents had me in Mountaineer appearel when i was weeks old, but I was at this game. Yep, I was 9 years old...and we left early in the 4th because i wouldn't stop complaining about the cold. I hate myself for that till today. My parents and I would've been going crazy seeing the OT live in person, but it was fine listening to Tony on the radio. He's a great commentator.

i was at this game. i used to be a mountaineer fan. this game was freezing cold. it was like 20 degrees. and the worst thing, is that it went into three overtimes! wvu won though.

The Defense was offisides, they dont move to make it more noticable.

flaming... that was WVU's o-line's signature move to prove that they didn't false start and the d-line was offsides. Sometimes it was really comical - where most of them would all just fall forward frozen-like ... like the center did in this video.

my question is why the hell didn't RU kick a field goal to win it in 3OT. They were on the 8 yd line and that would've set them up for a 25, yes, 25 yard field goal. A Freshman inexperienced High School kid could make that. 25 YARDS!!!!!

Damn! It was cold there that night! But it was well worth it! Our "Lets Goooooooo".......followed by the other sides chant "Mountaineers".....will be in my memories forever. Hell of a game that was.

Yeah it was cold as fuck. Rutgers is gonna be tough this year to. I'm a WVU fan but i can respect a team like Rutgers. That's about the only one though lol.

Me and my fiancee went to this game. Wish I could of stayed for the whole game, but she had to leave early, got too cold.

Saw clips of the game though afterwords, just great. Rutgers though has come a long way, I will say that.

if WVU would have had Pat White this game then Rutgers wouldn't have stood a chance!!! Jarrett Brown played real well for the situation that he was in but if we had Slaton & White's 1-2 punch then this game would have ended in regulation 41-24!!!

i am confident that WVU will beat Rutgers in Piscataway, however i will admitt that is the 1 away game on our schedule that scares me a little. A question 4 someone, who's going 2 complement Ray Rice in the backfield this yr and who's going 2 fill all of the defensive holes this yr besides 4-star LB Manny Abbaeu. other than that RUTGERS keep up the good work and way to make the Big East look better. I'll see u sat. night on Oct.27...get ready 4 the game of the year!!!
