yes i created new brush or new vegetal with other material...new categorie rock or tree ( banana tree on island lvl ( best tree beautifull for me) ok ok but dont know import layer yet....vry importan is edit gameplay boundary ( point by point) and can play and remix ALL the map of crysis...mi lvl 1= Island is on all the ..island^^ (10 km /10)...and make a part frozen with new vegetal frozen ( categorie frozen).....tea My Crysis Delta is unik and hardest in wolrd....good luck

yea there is lot of kid with new card and cpu and noob gamer , dont use and know sand box ( relly noob) just pathtic gamer with no experience....and same crysis and think theyr are pro...cuz pro pcu.....haha....but i hav a question= can we import layer from other map (level) or import layer and brush ( materiel editor) and vegetation or sound from map from sites ...but no one map is vry nice and ther are small with original enemi....pfff l need imagination....remix graphic is not enought...

hey forget this....view distance vegetation ( no sprite for some tree) PALM with 30 view distance and no sprite !!! = reflection on water from maxi distance !! same...farcry..brush too ( croiser =255=refection long distance..) so the Palm reflect are nice .....and change in REalistiC mOre....

pls dont compare x box ( for kid) and a great PC ( 5000 euros max !!) so with 1000 euros u hav a good cpu now....So i never see a a real modification....remix all enemy..lol if u want a real NEWS game and a real DElta lvl...lot f roket/hurican/fy/smg with maxi reaction/pesistence/sightrange­/....i hav change all enemy in all story single crysis...all lesder hav Law roket...lot f sniper and hurican on Demoshoot 1 (crouch position and only snipe arround and never move ) where u want....

you can install sandbox at demo folder or crysis full disc but need open disc

it's to do with the Administrator privileges. When you go to run the editor, right-click on the shortcut, and select "Run as Administrator", and it should run no problem. That's how it happened with me :)

this makes me doubt the Source engine, i always thought that this type of editor was unprofessinal when really its the other way around!

the source physics are still better than the crytek 2 ones, but the sandbox is better than the hammer tool, because you can play live, while on hammer, you must create the map, launch the game and play it.

note: Garry's mod is the closest thing to crysi sandbox2, but it cant modify,create maps, set ai, create physics

Really after some time with both engines i can say i still prefer Source. While ya, CryEngine2 has a realtime map system... Doesn't mean its better, in fact thats why its such a CPU expensive engine.

i prefer source engine, because it dosent require as much as CPU as crytek2, this allows me to make bigger maps with more props

go into the crysis folder and go into the sandbox installer folder. open the program and install the game. then after you have done that, go back to the crysis folder, go into bin32 and double click on editor.

it should be INSIDE the crysis folder... its in local disk (C:), program files, electronic arts, then crytech, then crysis, then it is the sandbox2 installer is definitely in that there. if its not, then you are either in the wrong folder, or you're blind.
