Rev 19:16 - How are you gunna see his thigh with a robe on? Is He a male prostitute? GOD FORBID.
I don't condemn people for wearing tattoo's, God will forgive if you repent...but I won't indorse it either. If you stop, cool...not gunna say it's okay however. God spoke against it and He will never come against what He said, God cannot contradict Himself.
However, I wouldn't shut the doors on someone covered in them if they're a true convert, and wishes to cover up. Don't go to church lika thug
Leviticus 19:28 Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, NOR print any marks upon you: I am the LORD.
He said nor, meaning also do not. It's that simple...Isaiah 44:5 said " and another shall subscribe (write) *with* his hand unto the LORD"
Isaiah 49:16, in context, is saying that God is continuously around Him, that Isaiah's hands are always touching the walls. God is protecting Him..has nothing to do with tattoo's.
Very good points! A christian loves all. You must not judge. Jesus came to save the sinners, not the righteous! We are all sinners no matter what we look like on the outside. Christians have a right to believe as well as the athiest. I may not agree with everyone elses point of views but i love them just the same! I would love to show the power of Gods love to everyone and give them the opportunity to feel the holy spirit touch their heart! by the way, Im sleeved and heavily tattooed myself!
Isaiah 44 vs 5 that you have written is from the Amplified Bible! writen only a few years ago. first edition published only in 1965. The Luther Bible of 1545 says "This is to say: I am the Lord! and that will be called by the name Jacob, and he will write with his hand to the Lord and will be called by the name Israel. Amplified Bible adds many words that "are not" in the oldest known versions of the Bible. Please google UNDERSTANDING THE DIFFERENCES IN BIBLE VERSIONS for a better understanding
hi pastor aaron, this puts things in perspective for me, i have a tat on my right leg and in my mothers church, anyone with a tat is not allowed....very sad that this kind of perspective comes from christians...all but one of my brothers has tats and piercings, and i do as well and i feel you are exactly right about this! thanks so much for the video!!! awesome message! see you at oasis!
I don't know you, but I like to think I'm a pretty good judge of character and I just wanted to let you know, I think you have it. I'm an Atheist. I would go so far as to describe myself as a militant Atheist, that is to say, I hold within me a deep, deep disdain for religion in general and in particular Christianity. However, if you are, as you say, nonjudgmental and truly loving, you are one of the good ones and if all Christians were like you, I would have stuck with it.
i want to thank you. for years i have felt and believed the same as you have just spoken...
through over 30 hours of tattoos on my body, i've continually struggled with the misconceptions of other fellow christians... as a professional body piercer, even more so...
my body is a temple, and i decorate my temple... just as a church can be decorated with pretty windows and ornate alters... to me, i see no difference...
