David did a good job with Sonny's voice but I prefer the voice David used from the Number 1 Game. Here he sounds TOO friendly. The Number 1 Game sounds more like Richard's Sonny. Compare his "Are we havin' a nice day or what?" to The Number 1 Game. But, of course, Richard's the best Sonny Friendly ever. & Sonny also looks OBVIOUSLY better as a live-handed Lavender than a little Lavender AM. The little Lavender AM scares me.

I remember seeing this, I too felt it was kinda odd that they changed the Anything Muppet type used for Sonny. I think this was also the first episode I know of where Big Bird was performed by Matt Vogel.

Kevin Clash would've did a better job taken over Sonny Friendly. But Daivd Rudman is a great performer too, and i'm sure he will do well on other Richard Hunt Characters like Forgetful Jones

Good News: Muppet Wiki finally put up a picture of Sonny Friendly.

Bad News: It's a picture from this clip, with him as a weird looking small guy. If they can't get rid of it, can't they at least put a picture of the original Sonny Friendly as well?

My goldfish Sonny died last month, and my dad brougt a new goldfish, and we named him Rockey.

Boy, Sonny Friendly is even more of a dud here than he used to be. What was the point of making him smaller? And David Rudman does a good job voicing Richard Hunt's half of the Two-Headed Monster, so you'd think he'd do slightly better imitating his voice here too. It seems like "What's My Job" is the only thing we have with the real Sonny Friendly.

Yeah! What did Sonny do, spend too much time in a steam bath? They didn't just make him smaller, they made him unusually small. And the old puppet's look was much more fitting of the personality type Sonny's supposed to be.

The only other prominent character I can think of who's gone through a needless physical change like that is Hoots (recently brought back from retirement but looking very different)

I know what you mean. First they make his eyes more "generic" as Muppet Wiki words it. And then, as if that wasn't enough, they needlessly changed his color. It was like they dipped him in brown paint, though I'm not sure how official that change is, as I've also seen him in his original color during that season.
