i honestly don't think there is a such thing as a "bad" painting. It's art. Art is whatever we want it to be. it's just how you express yourself. I think it's a fantastic painting because he was relaxed his strokes were calm and he seems like he likes what he does. every painting is beautiful to me because there is no way to measure badness.

I think you have exemplified the simplicity of a great painting. Working with lesser brush strokes is a skill in it's own right. This is a technique many can't achieve, me being one..

If he was to show off he would've done so. But the point of this video was to give us a relative ideea of perspective and such. On that, I think he succeded.

@ramseybugs i think the point is a tutorial, he may not want to discourage ppl by tripling te video length and giving ppl a detailed painting to compare their work to and think "god i suck". but on 2nd hand, maybe another vid showing some finished works done in acrylic would be nice.
