@natalieheppnstall SHe does it on purpose on every video to let her nail breathe. If you cover the cuticule it could result in a weak fingernail.

@bellaroonies Start using nail strenghtner (cant spell it) at the tip off the nail and if u can, cover the entire nail.

@bellaroonies Go ahead and polish them how much u like, but when you polish them just don't polish the entire nail. Leave some space between the cuticles and the polish so a part of the nail is showing.

I found stars exactly like yours at Sally Beauty Stores in a variety of colors and are also available as flowers or hearts.There Nail Art Sprinkles by Art Nail. :) Great tutorial,I might use to decorate fake nails for myself.

Some people call them Q tips or earcleaners. If you look in any supermarket you'll fing some:)

sorry for butting in, but those are called orange stick, i think you can find them in either a craft store or a beauty supply store, i know i have found them on both, one end is pointy as you can see in the video and the other end is flat, i find it perfect for pushing the cuticles and to correct mistakes!

no in this video she used an orangewood stick and then dipped it in something like a lipbalm/vaseline to hold onto the star. you can find them in the nail isle at the grocery or places like Sally's Beauty supply. but like she stated you can also use a wet Qtip to pick them up with also :) hope this helps! i noticed you posted 9 months ago tho! :)
