I had never heard of Kaolin....LOL..if you see something weird you will buy it - sounds like my hubby!!!! But the white dirt is interesting. Love your grandmother's desk calendar. When I go thrifting with my husband I do the clothing, jewellery thing but my husband actually looks through all of the household items (he seems to be drawn to pots and pans LOL - but only vintage ones...but still...). Books would be a better pursuit for him! How wonderful about the 4 leaf clovers!!!

@feliciajuly Yeah, I can make a whole channel just for weird things I buy. Alabama..oh boy, in North Alabama there is this sort of community market called Lacon Trade Days where people sell all kinds of random stuff. You can buy a chicken and a hubcap within 50 feet of each other! However, every now and then you find a treasure.
