@bffalcon because the small amount of the best things is just enough.. and We should stop when it´s the most beautiful.. that´s what we Czech say - not sure about the translation :)
ive never seen this before but i love how all these comedians from programs like black books, spaced, the day today, IT Crowd all seem to appear in each others shows. Its good to keep seeing familiar faces.
this looks like a very soppy lovey dovey sitcom - but it's interesting to see dylan have some affection for a fellow human being :D and he's always himself no matter what he does... i love that about him and he's honest...
@missrainbowist I remember seeing on tv a long time ago, i recognise some of the scenes, Dylan looks very scared of everything, in this mind you i'd be scared if those lout's wondered into the house and bedroom Just yikes!
Lisa Left Eye lopez documentary shows how talented people sometimes are gone too soon. I was trying to find something worthy of Charlotte Coleman after Oranges are not the only fruit, and to find Serafinovich doing some version of, Did I ask you psychotic is added bonus.
This is an extraordinarily warm, funny and wonderfully nuanced series starring some of Britain's best comedic actors. It was poorly treated in Australia having too short a run on our TV screens at an odd time, and I've been trying to find it on DVD ever since. Great to be able to enjoy watching it once again.
Yes, he's awesome, you wonk? What're you asking for?
He's a STAND UP COMEDIAN? How can you have not heard of him?
Irish. Irish, with a wry, complex and rather wonderful sense of humour.
Wry. WRY. It means dryly comical, with a touch of irony! English!
Anyway he's rather sexy and you ought to go to one of his gigs - they're fantastic and you might have trouble not snorting audibly and digging your elbow into your partner.
agree totally, movieluvr69 and Hot PotNoodle1. And who is Mark Heap? In the U.S. the first episodes in a series never achieve the consistency of character development seen already in the opening scenes here, as if the U.S. actors need time to work out their characters.
I'd expect more from the writer of Men Behaving Badly. It is like a watered-down version of Moran's own humour, but it feels like its holding back. A bit too audience-friendly.
You are the most wonderful person in the WORLD to put this up! I have been wanting to see this forever, but am stuck here in the US where it seems to be impossible! I can't tell you how excited I was to see this!
I take it that an Irish Bloke meets & marries an English gal. Wow, the fatherinlaw acts JUST LIKE my motherinlaw...ugly & hateful! I know the feeling.."what did I do!?" (was this before the tell a joke in the pub scene?) Then the futbol team is my husband team?! LOL, Life is Grand! Dylan Moran's talents make it ever much more Grand!
I loved this series. I am so pleased to see it here. Thank you.

How much do you want to bet that wasn't the actual line in the script.

Better than Black Books. Brilliant stuff. Charlotte was in 4 weddings... Died at 33 following an asthma attack. This series was top dog....
