  • I loved this series. I am so pleased to see it here. Thank you.

  • dean is the most obnoxious character ever.

  • Charlotte Coleman (3 April 1968 – 14 November 2001) R I P nearly 10 years already!

  • Um, Dylan is adorable. That's about all I have to say.

  • got a fit of girly laughter when the first thing you see is dylans gorgeous smile :)

  • ahahah dylan's opening line!

  • rip charlotte coleman!

  • Thanks for uploading this! Great to see Dylan's young face :P

  • Hey, it's the guy from Running Wilde! He looks so young.

  • It's really sad that charlotte has passed away now

  • Can't understand why this and black books lasted only 2-3 seasons.

  • @bffalcon because the small amount of the best things is just enough.. and We should stop when it´s the most beautiful.. that´s what we Czech say - not sure about the translation :)

  • thankyou for posting this!

  • *sigh* <3

  • no wonder he shot that horrible old twat

  • Lol Dylan has a cute sad puppy face!

  • ive never seen this before but i love how all these comedians from programs like black books, spaced, the day today, IT Crowd all seem to appear in each others shows. Its good to keep seeing familiar faces.

  • "It's our wedding day! I'm meant to carry you across the.... thing!"

How much do you want to bet that wasn't the actual line in the script.

  • I want you in black see through tights wearing a red thong and topless with a nipple ring in the right tit. Thank you.

  • man, haven't seen this for years; saw it on BBC2 when it ran originally. poor old Charlotte Coleman, RIP

  • Dylan Moran! I love you sooo much! You mean everything to me :)

  • this looks like a very soppy lovey dovey sitcom - but it's interesting to see dylan have some affection for a fellow human being :D and he's always himself no matter what he does... i love that about him and he's honest...

  • i have never seen this before! now i am getting the dvd! dylans luvly!!

  • Was this series before or after black books?

  • @Crewmannumber6 Before.

  • Lisa Left Eye lopez documentary shows how talented people sometimes are gone too soon. I was trying to find something worthy of Charlotte Coleman after Oranges are not the only fruit, and to find Serafinovich doing some version of, Did I ask you psychotic is added bonus.

  • I was trying to find something worthy of Charlotte Coleman after consuming alot Oranges are not the only fruit. Did I acks you!

  • That pub reminds of the one from the movie The Eagle Has Landed.

  • the late great Frank Finlay as well as the late great Charlotte Coleman.. RIP..

  • @FrenchiesDubsteppaz

    Frank Finlay isn't dead.

  • This is an extraordinarily warm, funny and wonderfully nuanced series starring some of Britain's best comedic actors. It was poorly treated in Australia having too short a run on our TV screens at an odd time, and I've been trying to find it on DVD ever since. Great to be able to enjoy watching it once again.

Cheers for throwing it up here!

  • Better than Black Books. Brilliant stuff. Charlotte was in 4 weddings... Died at 33 following an asthma attack. This series was top dog....

  • Rate it "Awesome!"

    Just for Dylan Moran.

    Because he's awesome.

Yes, he's awesome, you wonk? What're you asking for?

He's a STAND UP COMEDIAN? How can you have not heard of him?

Irish. Irish, with a wry, complex and rather wonderful sense of humour.

Wry. WRY. It means dryly comical, with a touch of irony! English!

Anyway he's rather sexy and you ought to go to one of his gigs - they're fantastic and you might have trouble not snorting audibly and digging your elbow into your partner.

  • HAHAHA

What are all these children doing here...?

  • thank you so much. love it. mark, peter, and DYLAN are simply brilliant actors.

  • Yay, Dylan and Peter Serafinovich...isch...chz in the same show! :D

  • dylan and pete nice

  • The most underrated sitcom ever made - no contest.

  • Can anyone tell me when this was made? I've just stumbled across it in an attempt to cure a Dylan Moran craving :)

  • 1998 and 1999

  • thanks :)

  • omg pete!

  • agree totally, movieluvr69 and Hot PotNoodle1. And who is Mark Heap? In the U.S. the first episodes in a series never achieve the consistency of character development seen already in the opening scenes here, as if the U.S. actors need time to work out their characters.

  • I'm actually kinda disappointed.

I'd expect more from the writer of Men Behaving Badly. It is like a watered-down version of Moran's own humour, but it feels like its holding back. A bit too audience-friendly.

  • Since I watched Spaced Mark Heap has been turning up everywhere, I'm amazed I hadn't noticed him earlier!

  • Oh wow, you put this up!! Thank you so much!

  • This is superb and shows a massively different style for a very talented actor. Thank you for posting it.

  • This show was massively underated. Or at least under-watched anyway. Great stuff.

  • aw thanks for this! it was on tv once when i was little. the music is very Monarch of the Glen-esque.

  • Thank you so much for uploading this!. I used to love watching this back in the day, (god i feel very old now!, lol) x

  • Thank you so much for uploading this, trinityj1!

  • OK imagine Derick with a mustache and less hair, is he Dr. Stathem out of green wing?!

  • Yeah, that's Mark Heap who played Dr Stathem in GW! That's why they look alike! =D x

  • a thank yoo :D xx

  • What the fuck is this! lol

  • peter serafinowicz is so young in this.

  • Thank you for posting this, I can't find this anywhere else.

  • where's series 2?

  • Thank you for loading this!

I've wanted to see it for so long!

Dylan Moran is so cute, such a different character than in Black Books -- "What are all these children doing here?" XD

  • Dylan Moran is so hot =]

  • They filmed this show at my old primary school.

  • You can buy the DVD of both series for next to nothing. I've just watched the whole thing and it's top notch.

  • of course, this was the last thing Charlotte Cole did before she died wasn't it?

  • Yeh it was.

They were planning on more series but due to the unfourtant death of Charlotte they didnt.

  • Thanks so much for posting! Dare I hope for more episodes?

  • You are the most wonderful person in the WORLD to put this up! I have been wanting to see this forever, but am stuck here in the US where it seems to be impossible! I can't tell you how excited I was to see this!

  • I know how you feel! I'm happy to get to share this show.

  • I take it that an Irish Bloke meets & marries an English gal. Wow, the fatherinlaw acts JUST LIKE my motherinlaw...ugly & hateful! I know the feeling.."what did I do!?" (was this before the tell a joke in the pub scene?) Then the futbol team is my husband team?! LOL, Life is Grand! Dylan Moran's talents make it ever much more Grand!

  • thanks so much for posting this show, dylan moran is perfectly brilliant, take care.
