of course nobody will be or sing like janis jopin. but we can't deny that this woman's got talent. and I think it's important we have people that keep janis alive by doing this kinds of stuff. besides, SHE'S BRAZILIAN!!!. and so am I. and I LOOOVEE JANIS JOPLIN. that's it ;D
what annoys me about tribute bands is , that its all about ' sounding like like them" rather than exploring their essence.she really isnt embodying janis at all! she has the voice, the costume but none of the soul and isnt even moving from the same centre of movement as janis did.plus french (or whatever it is )accent and you get an EPIC FAIL
If there is one thing that is annoying, it is people who try to impersonate Janis Joplin. If you are truly a singer, then by all means sing one of her songs, and make it your own. That's a tribute. To me, this is just a Halloween show with disrespect and dishonor to her memory. She wasn't a freak show or to be immitated, it is a shame that this is how people make a living.
