  • Thank you so much for that simple video! Great for a beginner!

  • Excellent. This one is my favorite. I like Theresa's voice and teaching method.

  • Great visual aid, Thanks a lot.

  • Just to make it clear, this is the American "social" foxtrot and has next to nothing in common with the international standard Slow Foxtrot, which is considerably more difficult and more satisfying to perform. The two dances are no more comparable than are painting by numbers and paintings by the great masters.

  • I'm not a teacher, merely someone who put a lot of effort into mastering the real (Slow) Foxtrot and therefore rather resents the name 'Foxtrot' being applied to something that is quite different. Simply call this version the 'Social Foxtrot' and there's no longer a problem. Incidentally, if you think I'm being in any way partisan, bear in mind that the real (Slow) Foxtrot was developed in the US and derives from the Charleston.

  • There are difficult figures in both dances. One is not better than the other. I didn't find the International Foxtrot to be more difficult at all. They are very different for while American Foxtrot includes open dance figures International Foxtrot only includes closed dance figures.

  • nice

  • This was SO incredibly useful for my husband as a visual aid and reminder...thanks!!
