I remember an episode of DS where part of his make-up effect was falling of, it was funny. And I remember others where they would accidentally say the persons real name instead of their character's name.
Had it not taken the annual Daytime Emmy awards until two years after Shadows was canceled to get its act together, David would have placed every single year in the supporting actor catagory, without question, and would likely have won a round or two of them. I love Parker, Frid, Selby, Bennett, Scott, Hall -all of them!- but David, by far, was an actor's actor.
This is a fine tribute to Mr. David. He played so many terrific characters. My favorite is Ben from 1795. He was dog-loyal to Barnabas, one of two persons who treated him kindly. I felt pity for the returning Revolutionary War soldier who stole some bread because he was starving, and was thus sent to prison, then released into servitude for Joshua Collins--to clear the wooded estate as a common laborer. .I absolutely adore your music choice. Five Stars to you.

Ben was my favourite of Thayer, his dog like loyalty to Barnabas made me cry he never betrayed him like Forbes and others

This is a Great Tribute to The Great Thayer David, Count Petofi was a Great Bad guy on DS but Prof. Stokes was my favorite of his Characters.
