photoshop actually is much better than gimp. the only reason people may think otherwise is because their idea of editing only goes as far as retouching, airbrushing, and maybe changing hair and eye color. not to say that gimp cant do more than just that. however photo manipulations, painting, and more technical photography edits are more suited for photoshop. make overs are simple at best, it does however take skill. but not so much so as other things which only photoshop can offer.

you can look in "applications" or so... (In german it is "einstellungen") There is a folder you can see your brushes. If you don`t find them on your PC you can download some on Deviantart (and you can load some new Brushes)
