I think that Acrocanthosaurus deserve a little more respect than T Rex ,for almost one good reason : T Rex preys were a few times smaller than Acro ,who was to fight giant Sauropods ... (My favourite dinos are in Ankylosauria group ,sorry :p)

@ex59neo53 Trex had a much more harder prey Acrocanthosaurus probably couldnt beat a triceratops even trex lost to triceratops sometimes it was a 50-50 chance of killing it. While giant sauropods on the other hand would have been easier to kill cause they didnt have armor, trex just needed to get its mouth in 1 place and its over most likely it cant escape the mouth of a trex mostly cause of its massive bite force.

@iAsdf244 T Rex was a "one bite" killer ... Acro couldn't do that on bigger preys .... Acro versus Sauropods tail or feet = Acro was dead though (when u are 10x lighter than ur preys ,accidents are deadly lol)

To come up w/ an HYPOTHESIS, he probably STUDIED skin formation of birds (or any dino-related animal) such as an ostrich or emu whose feet characteristics resemble those of T-REX!

I'm pretty sure he's not convincing you 2 believe his theories. Like other sciences, Paleontology is built on scientific theories & speculations!
