you clearly haven't done your research. The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat is a book written by Oliver Sacks about different case studies he encountered as a neurologist over the years. The book was named after a man he worked with who had a tumor in the right hemisphere of his brain located in the lower area of the temporal lobe. The one-act chamber was named after that.
