This is classic vaudeville act. When I first saw this film I was young teen & I felt it was too funny. The two are a perfect team. Astaire is just classic song & dance man his footwork & body language & chorography was perfection personafide! Bing was excellent considering he wasn't a dancer. He was The Crooner in his hay day. These two men started everything when you think about it. Bing was an excellent singer, big attraction as was latter on Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley.

you should be able to recognize them by the one that can dance better and the one with the deeper, smoother voice. yes, bing is the blue, fred the grey. and it all depends on what the director wanted for if a film in the 30's or 40's is color or a film in the 50's or 60's is black and white. just go with it.
