For fuck's sake people, baby harp seals are left alone after weaning and survive on their fat supply until it sheds its white fur and resembles nothing like this pup. The mothers are SUPPOSED to abandon the pups at this stage of development. Lacking lacrimal ducts (tear ducts) the seals "cry" to remove tears from their constantly tear-covered corneas. The corneas are tear-covered to prevent salt from being in contact with it. This stage also means that soon it will be legal to club it.
