He didn't give himself the nickname Lee Harrison did back in the 90s when he was still in Monstrosity. It just stuck and he happened to join a band with the word corpse in it. He wears the Dethklok shirt for a few reasons. He likes the band, he's good friends with the creators and he's done voice work on Metalocalypse. There's nothing wrong with supporting a band you like. As for exposing CC to hot topic, personally I think there's a bit of blame to go through the whole band.

@BluntAnim your opinion, they have been my favorite band since my brother showed me them when i was like 7, studied them ever since and i still can't decide because when fisher sings this it isnt the same, but theres a reason for that. he wasnt in CC when it was made he was in monstrosity when tomb was released. But fishers songs are extremely deep and powerful and can do a lot more things with his voice than just constant growl, he can scream for longer too.

Barnes best vocals ever is in Feasting on the Blood of the Insane(SFU). He still has the low growl, but it is way clearer. In all seriusness who ever listened to tomb of the mutilated without knowing the lyrics and knew what the fuck he was saying in any of the songs. The vocals sound like they were just recorded on a casette player and dubbed in with the rest of the band. I love the old shit, but sometimes I prefer George just cause he doesn't sound like a bunch of bad noise in the background
